“Be careful - the instructions show two ways to put the bed together (with headboard right or left) - but following the alternate configuration can result in the boards having the nonfinished side facing forward. If both sides of the individual edges were finished, this would not be a problem!”

“We bought for our grandson as he's been known to roll out of his toddler bed, we were all fearful that he'd hurt himself if he had a taller bed, so this was a great option for him. Plus what 4 year old wouldn't love their tows all around them on the shelves when going to bed. This would be a great bed for a teen also!”

“I definitely wouldn’t call this a bookcase bed. The space is barely wide enough to hold the smallest of board books for my toddler. They still hang over the edge some. Instructions were easy to comprehend. My husband and I slapped it together within a couple hours. We probably would have done it faster if kids weren’t helping. We’re happy for the price and quality. It’s been a fun transition for the little one. I’d recommend it with the heads up about the sizing though.”
