“This dresser is big and really nice for the price. Putting it together was easy as I did it all by myself in about 2 hours. Just be careful when putting it together.. I was but there were still a few minor scratches when all was said and done. I noticed there were some reviews saying the drawers only open halfway? Not the case at all with mine. Modern/contemporary style and looks way more expensive than it is.”

Parts Missing, Replacement Parts Taking 3-4 months to arrive.

“I purchased this dresser on 1/12/24. The dresser is nice but after spending 2-2.5 hours building it, we found out that the package came without the 6 drawer supports, which basically renders it useless since we wouldn't really be able to put anything in the drawers without them. I placed an order for replacement parts and when I placed the order, they told me it would take 7-10 business days to arrive. 10 days later, I called the parts department, and they told me the parts are expected to arrive to THEM (not to me) by early April (3 months after I placed my order). I called customer service back, and they told me my options were to wait for the parts to arrive, return and replace the dresser (which was not really an option because I obviously didn't still have the original box), or take the dresser to a charity to get a donation slip and they would send me a replacement. I don't have the ability to haul this giant dresser to a charity, and I don't want to rebuild the entire dresser again. It's ridiculous that I have to wait a MINIMUM of 3 months to use this dresser, which I bought to use in our nursery. Customer service should be able to get the 6 missing pieces of wood to the customer in a much more efficient manner. This is the 3rd thing I have purchased from Ashley furniture and I had a huge issue with the first one as well (quality of construction and didn't last long). I won't be purchasing from them again.”

“Very cute, but a pain to put together (the associate in store told me it would come mostly put together which is not the case). About 5 months in, 2 of the front panels started to come off. Customer service sent me replacements for free, which is appreciated, but for the price I would hope the materials were sturdier.”

“Style is pretty. Drawers barely even open half way- I thought I would get used to this eventually but honestly it’s just gotten more annoying with time. I never know what clothes I have in half of my dresser and I can’t wait to get rid of it. Some people are saying their drawers open all the way? If you get one of those then this is a nice dresser, but otherwise I would definitely not recommend. I have the tall boy in this style as well and it has the same issue with drawers.
Also the part that controls how far the drawers come out is the one part that is pre-assembled so it’s definitely not an error on the consumer side.”

“The front panel on one of the drawers broke away when it was being assembled. It took 2 months and MANY frustrating emails with their TERRIBLE customer service to get the replacement part sent to me! Like so many companies in so many different industries they are so polite and friendly when they're trying to get your money, but any problems after that and you're treated terribly!”

“The dressers look nice, but the overall quality isn’t great. It’s been three weeks since they arrived and my bedroom still has a very strong chemical smell from whatever the furniture was treated with. I couldn’t put my clothes inside for the first week because the odor was so overwhelming. While it has faded slightly, it’s still noticeable and even gives me a headache in the morning.
The drawer depth is good (16.5”), but they only slide out about 7.5”, so it’s hard to see or reach what’s inside. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t purchase these again.”
