Tricky set up

“Great bed frame however the screws in the set do not screw into the wood when setting up the platform part. I needed to drill holes before screwing the metal bars of the platform to the bed frame.”

“When I ordered it I was concerned about the sturdiness. It turns out that it is very sturdy. I found the assembly to be simple. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble. My mattress is a little bigger than the frame but I can live with that.”

Slats not long enough...

“The only reason I'm giving this a 2 and not a 1 is because it's a great price and I like the mattress. I bought the frame with the hybrid mattress deal. The slats for the platform base are not long enough. They are about 1/2 inch too short. The picture shows them almost flush to the sideboards on each side but they are not. If I screwed in one side of the slat just far enough in from the baseboard so the wood didn't split the hole on the other side was over too far over to screw into the wood. I could look through the hole at the carpet. So I had to alternate which side I screwed in a slat. I'm afraid to have anybody sleep in it.”

Terrible service, disappointing product

“The delivery was not as promised. We were told we would be notified of the delivery and, instead, found the boxes containing the bed, mattress etc. leaning against the front of the apartment building two days ahead of schedule. Only by chance did we not lose the packages to theft or weather. Additionally, the bed slats are too narrow for the mattress resulting in the mattress corpsing to the floor with minor movement. Very disappointed in the product and the service. Wouldn’t buy at Ashley again.”
