“It’s all right, didn’t realize there are no slats/mattress support included in the design, which means that things sit very low to the ground. Definitely recommend getting a box spring, if you don’t already have one.
Shelves/cubbies are a bit more shallow than expected; they are not deep enough to properly shelve a book, but good for helping to corral stuffies and other bedtime essentials”

First one followed directions n took 1-2 hrs to assemble. Second one took less than an hour. One thing I didn’t realize is mattress does not get a box spring under it.
Great option as opposed to toddler beds as you can later turn mattress into a big kid twin bed.
You can switch which side the book case is on.”

Came with some flaws for sure, not worth actually trying to repack and return it though, will just use a paint pen to fix all the bad spots. You get what you pay for, will work for now until I buy something more like a real bed, my bad for not realizing how small this is. Not for use for folks that can’t get up off the floor.”

“Very poor quality wood, the back it’s just a board. Awful costumer service experience, one piece was wrong and I just received the spare part after one month, and several calls.
The mattress goes directly on the floor and the hole structure is very weak.”

I reached out to the company and they said they would replace it but it’s been more than 1 week and I haven’t even received an email with updates. Such a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! “Very basic and basically an ikea style piece of furniture. But I assembled with the help of my two year old and she loves her “unicorn bed” although she still finds her way to ours. I ordered a 10” mattress for it the mattress sits directly on the floor with this bed frame. 10 clears the frame probably could have even went 12” but I don’t think I would recommend an 8” as when it compresses you would be below frame.”

“This rating is a 2.5. It’s not good it’s not bad. It is what it is. It’s a cheap solution that will work for a kiddo to most likely abuse it enough that it won’t be reused. It’s not very good quality material, the corners cracked when I nailed in the backer board. But it serves its purpose as a nice way to have some storage directly around the bed.”
