Not Worth the Hassel

“I received a delivery of just the server. There were no feet, knobs, handles, shelves or hardware. I called and spoke with the 800 number and they said they’d order the parts. Later that day customer service called to see how the delivery went. I explained the issue again. Two days ago I received a package of screws and brackets. No feet, handles, knobs, etc. I spoke with customer service again and they said they’d order what was missing. Today I got another call asking me if I had everything I needed. I went back through the issue and was told because I said hardware that’s all that was entered. The customer service is awful. The piece of furniture seems fine, but it’s now been 2 weeks of it being unusable. I have had issues with Ashley in the past and thought I’d try again. Between this situation and now going on a 3 week delay of getting my couch, I will never use them again.”

“It’s ok. It matches the table I got, and I like the style and color. But the surface has a plastic feel to it, and the drawers don’t close properly. There’s a gap and they don’t align. If I carefully position the drawers I can minimize the gap but it’s a pain in to have to mess with it.
I will probably never order from Ashley again. The table I bought to go it’s this is still waiting for a technician to come out and fix it, the dishes have yet to ship and it’s been a month and I’m just over it.”

“The furniture itself is nice enough, but the process of ordering was a complete nightmare! placed my order in February, and it took until May for me to get my furniture due to incompetence. my order was cancelled by someone by mistake, but the mistake couldn't be undone. I was forced to place another order and because of it was pushed to the back of the line hence the long wait. after the furniture was finally delivered, another week goes by without my card being charged and then they double charged my account causing my bank account to go in the negative! not sure if an instore experience would have been different but the issues I encountered makes me think this company has zero competent employees.”

I waited 6 months, paid hundreds of dollars, for a damaged piece of furniture. I love the piece itself, but the customer service has proven to be horrendous.”

“I love my Johnelle server! I’m using it to store my fancy glassware and serving platters and it’s perfect! Adds a touch of class to my otherwise plain dining room. The only thing I don’t like about it, is it doesn’t have a solid wood back. It’s just a thin covering which looks cheap, but if you have it backed up to a wall no one would ever see that. The cabinet doors and drawers all feel very well constructed. And the drawers are lined with velvet, which I thought was nice. I get compliments all the time.”
