“The table is absolutely beautiful! I am very happy with it. The only reason it did not get 5 stars was because it was a nightmare to put together due to the fact that the pre drilled holes n the planks that connect the top with the base did not line up. We tried for hrs and the table is heavy. We finally decided to drill new holes ourselves and because of where we had to put the new holes, the hangover on both ends are not even. Poorly prepared.”

“I love the look, the table looks good It doesn’t seem to be too sturdy though. I love the overall look of the chairs however I would not recommend you paying for assembly cause they only assemble the table and that doesn’t take more than 10 mins to put together then they left the chairs in the boxes for us to assemble even when I paid for that. It is nuts! So read carefully where it says that chairs might be delivered separately and might require assembly, CRAZY”

My husband is 5’11 and he struggles to put his legs under the table. His thighs touch the table from underneath. We have both the rectangle and round johnelle table. The round table seems to be slightly higher which is great. All my complaints were in regards to the rectangle one.”

“We recently purchased this dining set and love it! The table was assembled by white glove delivery. The delivery people left a mess and I had to cut off the straps from the underside of the table, but the table itself is beautiful. The chairs required assembly, but assembly was easy. The chair legs have adjustable feet in them, which are very handy if the chair legs get installed a little bit off. Overall, I love the look of this table and am glad we got it!”

The side chairs have to almost touch each other to fit on each side of the table. Same issue with the end chairs - they have to stick out too far from the table because of the location of the pedestal legs on the table.”

“This set had so much potential, then failed in so many ways. Two out of the four chairs wobbled. The table, when the slightest of weight, like your leaning slightly on your elbows and a very little bit of your weight added, the table very easily bent towards you. Also, the veneer literally looked like the cheapest of floor laminate placed upon the wood. This table, chairs and bench set were all so very disappointing and in so many ways. I am sure Ashley Furniture has beautiful sets, but we will be going to the store from now on, versus purchasing online.”

“I love my new dining set. I purchased it on sale with 4 chairs and bench. It compliments my room nicely. Everyone who has seen it says it is a nice set. The seats are firm. The table is more brownish beige than grey. The material on the chairs are exactly as described.
I need stain guard for my grandsons. Delivery was on time. My only complaint is the delivery team scratched my wood floors when turning the table over. I will buy a rug soon.”

“So far very pleased with this dining table & chairs! With 2 people, putting the table together was fairly simple but definitely need the extra person. I was able to put all the chairs together by myself which took 15-25 minutes per chair. The base of the table seemed a little darker than I had imagined it being, but once all together it is a nice grayish-brown color.. and I just love the chairs, they were exactly what I was looking for. Because there is no support at either end of the table, it isn’t as solid & sturdy but I don’t see why anyone would be putting all their weight in those places to jeopardize the stability. The extender works and fits perfectly. I am super happy with the table (and I looked at a lot of tables..)”

“Very sturdy construction for both the table and chairs. The fabric feels great. I ordered my set on their website and thought the chairs would be darker. Cream is really light and having a few kids makes me anxious every time they eat at the table. Overall it’s a nice set. You will be forever picking things out of the groves of the table. Since this table is not real wood, you don’t really have to worry about water spots and spills.”

“Really like the look of this set. The chairs are comfy, the slide and glide to put a leaf in is easy too. Only downfall is that the set is not perfect, made on the cheaper side. For example, chairs, rivers not perfectly straight, on the table legs are not perfectly square. You notice when building but not as much in everyday use.”
