I intend to use a runner to tone down the gray. It was delivered in very good condition and the guys were good about putting the furniture pads on the feet. Seems like a very good piece. The doors latch solidly. Overall I'm happy with it.”

A few months later, part of that time with nothing inside of it two of the wider shelves are splitting at the front. Nothing heavy has ever been placed inside the unit.”

“First I have to say that this is a great design and the craftsmanship for the most part is well made. I would have given the server a five (5) star review but I have one issue that is driving me nuts! The lower decorative studs in the middle of each door are off center and the upper ones are on center. In the image on the Ashley website you can clearly see that they should line up and both be on center but all three (3) door have the same issue but not all the same distance of out of alignment. Also, the fasteners for each door hinge were drilled in not true to the surface and don’t sit flush in the countersunk hole. Small things that are easily avoidable if someone took their time to install them properly. Besides that, like I mentioned before everything else is great. Maybe Ashley can send me replacement doors and hardware so I can install them probably myself. That would be great customer service!”

The "runner up" dining set we almost purchased elsewhere did not offer a matching Server, so that could have been another tough hunt. If you don't mind not having pull out drawers or glass doors in a Server (as we were considering) this is a great piece with a "distressed" look top and has ample space (for us at least) for plates, etc. for your formal occasions.”

“False advertising We have the exact pictures buffet and love it so much we ordered a second. The one we received is yellow in color not white washed and doesn’t match our dining set or the other buffet. They are magnet close too and not latch. They told us they changed manufacturing company but yet keep the same photo online, plus in their store have the same one but yet sent us something completely different. Waste of $1200. The door came warped too. They did replace it. It came with no footings and yet they sent the white washed footings to us that don’t match the new yellow buffet. Fail!”
