I thought that Ashley furniture was quality but I've learned that it is definitely not the case. This table has the worst cheap veneer. It's so disappointing. My table is now so embarrassing and I have to keep a table cloth on it all the time.”

The table top finish withers away quickly to show the unfinished scarred chipped off surface. The chairs have flimsy seat cushions with weak support such that you sense it bottoming out. Quickly Deteriorating

Looks great-until it doesn't

“Honestly the size of this table is great and we love everything about it-until the second it got wet, the finish peeled off, and the top "bubbled". Someone from Ashley came out and said it was "water damaged" (which, it's a dining table...those get wet...but whatever). "Luckily" we paid for the insurance/warranty which covers all of that. Except...the people at the warranty place (Montage) claim that the warranty information that was given to us (at Ashley) wasn't accurate. I won't get into the absolutely trainwreck Montage is (I absolutely do NOT recommend paying for that plan) but I will say that, while we want to love this table set, a dining table (which will inevitably have a drink spilled) should be able to get wet without the finish peeling off. We use placemats/coasters at every meal, but also have a kid who spills a drink once in a blue moon. “We bought this table back in January, delivered in February after a delay. Two weeks in, the paint started to wipe off, and when I say wipe off, I mean all I used was a wet rag. WATER took the paint off. I called a few months later when I finally had time to follow up and Ashley, after some grief, replaced the table top. Again a few weeks in, it appears the paint is coming off AGAIN!! It’s no wonder the dropped the price on this table. I am so over Ashley, I paid off my card and closed my account!! Buyer beware!!!”

“The table is beautiful, the exact colors I was look for and I love the 6 drawer style of the table. However, I am very disappointed in the actual quality of the table top. I have had the table for exactly 1 month, and with only slight use, the color/finish is already coming off some small spots, and imagine this will only get worse. If you are going to use this as an every day table, I would not recommend it. Its very frustrating, as I was expecting better quality from Ashley Furniture. I've had no problem with the chairs of this set.”

“I bought this table and chairs from a furniture store in town. Initially when I first got it I loved it. But in the months since, the way the top of the table is made it chips very easily. I think if it had a smooth finish it would be so much more durable. Also, the table has cracks (purposely) but stuff gets caught down in the cracks which is a pain for cleaning. Something for the manufacturer to think about in the suture.”

“Beautiful sturdy table, BUT... within the first week, it had scratches. Not just a small scratch, almost looks as if the outer layer is "peeling" away, revealing a lighter wood underneath. It looks horrible and is very noticeable. I do not clean the table with anything besides water and a paper towel. Only minimal use from my husband and I as well. The chairs and bench are awesome and sturdy. Is there something i can get to repair the scratches?”

“I loved the drawers that were built in, they definitely help with storing items like placemats, silverware, coasters, buffet napkins etc. I do have the same problem as others with crumbs getting in the cracks but its nothing that a small handheld vacuum can't solve. Overall love the look and the quality of it. Also very thankful of the delivery guys who brought it, they were initially only supposed to assemble the table but were nice enough to assemble the benches that had came separately.”

Too small

Needed to be aroun 44'x80. if you made a bigger one exactly like it, I would buy it today! As it is, I have to shop for a different table that is more to scale with the other pieces. Love the style though. You can't tell in the picture but it is mostly just too narrow. I can with the length.”
