“I like the chairs very much, but one thing was lacking in its design.. floor protection. Only after it was assembled did I realize that they was nothing to protect the floor and after taking time to find the type, and the correct size, I ordered them and after putting on the silicon protectors we could use them. These needed a larger size. Because of this I have given 4 stars, or else I would have given 5 stars. It should say something in the description that one would need to buy floor protectors.”

VERY STURDY/GREAT WITH A FARMHOUSE TABLE

“I owned a few of these chairs that I bought at a furniture outlet store and loved the quality of them. When it came time to replace my 22 year old oak dining chairs I knew these were the ones I wanted. They are heavy and the seats are so comfortable. The fabric is sturdy and goes with every color. They were easy to put together except for I wish the directions would explain leveling the chairs a little more clearly. The instructions say to leave all bolts loose until they are all in. Fine, got that. Then I tightened them all. Further down in the instructions it says to 'level' the chairs before tightening the bolts. Ugh, had to loosen bolts on all 6 chairs. When leveling, set them on a very flat surface to level them. (My slate floors were not a good choice). I had to get under the chairs, on the floor, to re-tighten all of the bolts while my husband pushed down on them to add some weight. As he pushed down (don't sit on them while bolts are loose), I tightened all of the bolts and the chairs were level. If you try to just put them together without doing this they will rock and won't feel solid. Overall, I'm super happy with these chairs. Between 2 table sets I own 10 of them!”
