“We loved the materials of this chair, the fabric and the wood are A-grade, however when we assembled the screws were not able to fit in the right place, and when I tried to use a little bit of force it cracked! Finally, we came to the conclusion that it was a manufacturing defect in 2 of our chairs. We are hosting a Christmas dinner for our family so we didn't return it however my husband made some adjustments by drilling on the chairs and it got fixed. If it wasn't for the holidays we would have returned it! Also, I was disappointed that they didn't have furniture pads on the chairs for hardwood floors since it was 2K worth of furniture.”

“We bought this set a year ago. The set itself is gorgeous and I give the table a 5 star. The chairs are the problem. They're sturdy and beautiful, but, the padding is terrible. After sitting on them for any length of time, they flatten and you can feel the wood. They don't retake their original shape, and the foam keeps the shape of the butt of whoever was sitting there. We have had a few of the seat tops replaced, but it keeps happening. We are planning on eventually having them redone with quality material in the future. This review is based on the chairs only.”

“Chairs are sturdy and good looking. I gave them a lower rating because the seat bottoms are a bit harder than they look. The seat backs are not very comfortable when you sit back in them though. The upper stile hits the back in an uncomfortable way. To fix this, the stile would need to be sanded or the bottom edge rounded off with a router. That said, the set LOOKS really good, but I wish they were a little more refined and comfortable.”

“This is an updated review about the 4 chairs I got about a week or 2 ago. So the first two issues I had were: 1-split wood in one of the areas where screws do it. 2-one chair had a considerably shorter leg making that chair really wobbly. New issue now is about the foam/cushions on the seats. Although I haven’t had them for very long, I can see this foam not bouncing back to its original shape in the near future! Some of the chairs take a long time for the foam/cushion to go back to its original shape! Although the cushions in my chairs are ok for now, I’m very worried as some cushions seem denser than others. Anyway I would think twice about getting these.”

“We bought the dining set with these four chairs, a bench, and a table back in 2019 and LOVE them. Ashley’s delivery service team came and assembled and put together everything and they are still holding up now (2025) extremely well. I went to order two more chairs as we recently re-modeled our kitchen and are using the same chairs for bar stools. Surprisingly, I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with this order. First of all, these were delivered to the wrong home which was very frustrating. Then, when our neighbors brought the chairs over to us, I went to open the parts and the screws were not only out of the box rolling around, but I was also missing pieces. When I called customer service they were rude and stand-offish which upset me. They did send me the parts but they were the wrong parts, not for the chairs at all. Luckily, the screws I needed were in there. The assembly was absolutely awful. The directions were terrible and I ended up scratching a lot of the legs due to the instructions”

“They are really nice chairs but unfortunately they don't match my table. I tried to return or exchange at the store here in Tucson. They directed me to online customer service. Grace meadows informed me that I am unable to return because I only had 72 hrs. I found some other chairs that I think will match better but I am unable to purchasebecause they wouldn't let me return the chairs I have. Can someone help me. I purchase from Ashley every year and would like to continue to do so. But if I can't get a refund I will no longer do business with Ashley..”
