Disappointing Assembly

“I like the look of them, they're nice but assembly wasn't a good experience. Firstly, the dowel pins are too big for the holes they're supposed to go into. I needed a mallet to get them in and the wood on one of the chairs split because of that.
Secondly, the threaded inserts on one of the backs of the chairs came out. I was screwing in the bolt but it wasn't getting tight and it turns out the inserts stripped the wood. They could have used glue for the inserts as well.
I do like the look but quality could have been better.”
