Beautiful table set but damaged

“First the packaging was pretty tight in the box which is good so the pieces wouldn’t get jostled around but there was so much paper I almost threw away several of the small pieces because they were totally buried and I didn’t see them. The instructions were okay, all pieces were labeled well but it was hard to tell which way the pieces needed to face. The corner between benches is extremely difficult it took several tries. Then as I was finishing the larger bench portion I realized there was a big dent in it which you can see easily when sitting at the table. There were some other smaller scratches and scuffs and scrapes but I figured at least they were on the back side. I was too far into building it to take it back apart and return it. But the assembled thing is beautiful and exactly what I wanted, the distressed wood is gorgeous. Just disappointed by the gashes considering how much money I spent on this.”

Beautiful nook, lot of work to assemble

“Nook is very pretty, real wood, fits well in smaller spaces /corner. I give 4 stars due to the fact that the wood is not sealed with a coating, only right side assembly instructions (it does state in handbook that it can be assembled right or left to fit the corner or area you wish), definitely need two adults to assemble, there were many pilot holes not drilled out (My Husband had to drill holes out), and the seating is NOT easy to assemble without a rubber mallet (still dented wood; used something between mallet and wood to help lessen dents). I will not buy/order furniture from Ashley’s or anywhere again that I have to fully assemble especially for the price this nook is.”

“Love the nook. Fit perfectly where I needed it. A beautiful table set. Made of wood very well made. Just a few of the pre drilled holes were to deep making the screws not sink in properly. Not a had fix.”

Very irritating to assemble

“It’s nice, looks great. Assembly was extremely difficult. Lots of holes/slots had to be redrilled/carved out so pegs would fit. Some pieces that came pre attached had to be unscrewed and placed back straight.
But it looks good, and the storage was a nice bonus I didn’t know the benches had”
