Disappointing Quality

“We decided to forgo the cheaper sources of furniture (wayfair, ikea, etc.) to get something more expensive in order to get higher quality pieces to serve as our condo pantry. These arrived quickly and were well packaged. However, as soon as we started putting these together, we were appalled by the poor quality and the fact that Ashley Furniture would sell something so low quality. We knew this was flat-pack furniture, but we were hoping that the materials would justify the price. Boy, were we wrong. In fact, we have seen much better quality for a lot less money than we spent here. Don't let the price deceive you like it did us. You should be able to get the same thing for half the cost.”

“It broke while I was putting it together. It’s very poorly made, the finishes were cheap and it wasn’t sturdy at all. It was ikea quality but for much more cost. I am returning them both.”

“I would not recommend this product due to low quality and overall underwhelming design. The corners don’t match up, the drawer sticks so to open it means to pull over the entire tower, and the quality is low (it’s not even heavy enough to sustain the weight of opening the drawer). It was easy to put together. The color is an odd design made to look antique, not a solid color.”

“Very nice pieces of furniture. I bought the set; 2 tall shelving units and the side board placed in between. I have so much more storage in my dining room, which I needed badly. As an elderly woman I would not have been able to put it together due to weight. My husband had no problem. He said it was easy to put together, but it did take some time. Maybe 8 hrs total. It is well-made, sturdy and doesn’t tip. (Ours stands on carpet). We put large bags of dog food (35 lbs) in the bottom of the tall units for balance, the lighter items on the two upper shelves to include cans, bottled water, canned juices, soda, etc. The drawers are nice too. Everything opens and closes with ease. The magnets on the cabinet doors work well too. Not one complaint.”

Two piece pantry set not as nice as expected.

“Not very happy.
Had a few problems with assembly and one or the side panel’s moulding on the front was cracked. We glued that back together with carpenters glue.
The molding corners around the perimeter didn’t always line up very well.
Both back panels were too big lengthwise and required cutting to make them fit.
The bar between the doors and drawer is off color (yellow).
One set of doors did not line up very well.”
