Nice set but has some issues

“This is a nice set with a good price. The assembly was not bad but I am pretty handy with tools. Since this set is black there were some areas on the chairs that were scraped and the finish came off showing the bare wood underneath. I can probably fix it with a black marker but I really should have to. The chairs are comfortable but the design of the back is a little rough. It seems like when the wood design was cut it was not sanded so all the edges of the cutouts are rough. No big deal unless it catches your good clothes and causes a pull in your clothing. After screwing the leg base into the tabletop some of the screws pierced the top and came through the top. Some of the other screws made some raised dimples in the table top. Since the top is jet black everything is very visible. Ashley - use shorter screws. I contacted Ashley and was assigned a case number but its been a week and no one has contacted me. No call, no email. Lets see if they come through with a replacement top. Overall I would recommend this set to others but be aware of some of the issues I described above.”

Picture very deceiving the table top not the normal dinette size!

“This set is really cute but the table top is really small, I'm not good with measurements so you get what you get meaning the table top. it's looks almost the size of a large coffee table this can't be used for a good sized family if you have a small space in a apartment it will serve the purpose. I ordered the supposed to be dark brown and gray however it looks completely black. But it's okay for my decorium! Once i figured out which side the table legs was to be attached the table went together very easy as well as the chairs!”
