“I just received my counter height bar stools yesterday. I searched for a long time for a bar stool that was sturdy and well made. These are them. I was amazed at how sturdy, well made and easy to assemble these are. The wood is slightly darker than what I thought the picture showed, but not a deal breaker. I can’t recommend them enough.”

Horrible Customer Service and Return Policy

“Love the chairs, BUT the customer service and return policy are horrible! I purchased 3 bar height chairs (available only online), measured to the ones that I had previously, and they were the same height. Once they arrived, the chair measurements were different than the photo shown and were taller than the dimensions. I purchased 3 more, but in the counter height chairs. I intended to return the 3 bar height chairs, but the return which the customer has to pay for to return, was more than the cost of the 3 chairs! The customer service rep was very difficult to understand and I was constantly being put on hold for a half hour. Ashley's return policy needs to be more transparent and tell you that you have to pay to return anything to them. If I would have known that, I would have looked elsewhere for bar chairs if I needed to return them. Left me irate and the sad thing is, I really like Ashley furniture but not anymore.”
