“Can’t really rate since what I ordered and what I received were two very different items. I ordered a chair with sliding steps, received a desk.
However, online customer care rep was very kind and patient while I uploaded pics. Nora gets 5-stars!
Just wish I didn’t have to wait 3 to 5 business days to find out when I get what I ordered and how-to return what I didn’t order. ;-)

“It was easy to put together, a lot of screws though. Just follow the instructions and you will have no problems. I used my cordless drill for 95% of it but needed a long phillips for 4 screws. The drill sped up the process. I don't like the plastic connections on the seat that holds the legs on but it seems study after it's tighened. So unless to throw it at someone it should last a while.”

“I would rate this a 7 on a scale of 10. While it does look and act like the step stool of my childhood, it obviously "isn't made like the old days". It is an acceptable modern day version. Although it is rather over priced for the quality. I'm sure I would never buy another one now that I've seen how cheaply this one is made.”

“Write yoMy wife wanted this step-stool, but then, I was quick to agree. My grandma had one of these in her kitchen, and many times I sat on that stool watching her cook. So many great memories of hers.
Well, I was a child back then, sitting on a grownup's stool. Today, I am a grownup who is unable to sit on a child's stool. This thing is small. I knew I exceeded the weight limit, but even my wife refuses to use it as a ladder. I'm sure it would hold her, but she just doesn't trust it. So now it's just another unused item we have to find a place for. Yes, I am sure the stated dimensions were truthful, but I was still disappointed nonetheless. ur review here. It must be at least 12 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.”

“I grew up with one of these in our kitchen. This may look "old school" but it is not. The seat is mounted by plastic and flimsy the steps slide in plastic and not stable or on hinges as they used to be. As with most things made these days, not built to last.”

The parts are not labeled thoroughly for example. It says to attach to part O… Then no part is labeled O. The steps are tiny. They don’t come out all the way and they are unstable.”

“Bought this. Loons sturdy but I’ll never know. Cheap hardware. Screws stripped immediately. The agent I called promised a full refund AND a replacement. I said not necessary to replace but she insisted. Throw that one away, she said. “I’ll process a replacement.” Nothing arrived. I called. “She was mstaken.” One guy suggested that I was trying to scam them. Nasty incompetent “customer care.” Worst experience ever.”
