Less than Zero - both the product and Ashley customer service!

“The only good thing about this chair is it looks cute - as long as you DO NOT SIT IT ON! Chair broke dramatically, the leg support wood split in half length wise almost sending the person sitting in the chair collapsing down to the floor. This chair was use TWICE, literally, before it broke to unusable.
Now here is an insult to the injury! When I called Ashley customer service I was glibly informed (with this ever present and oh so nasty "We are very sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused") that ---> since it is third party product, the warrantee has expired 30 days from purchase, so any repairs/parts/etc. the consumer now pays. So sorry, honey, we've got you money, but we've got no interest in standing behind the crap we sell under out name.
So hear this, Ashley furniture, this consumer will NEVER buy from you again, and will not allow her family and friends to buy from you either. And since both children will be setting their new adult homes this year, Ashely furniture - you lost thousands of dollars worth of sale for this one dinky $50 chair. Take this to the bank.”
