“This was my first time ordering from Ashley Furniture online. I received my table and chairs and put everything together and the last step was installing the leaf for the table. I then noticed a chip in one of the corners of the leaf. I called customer service and was told there were no replacement parts and I would have to disassemble the table and send it back for a replacement. I ended up getting refunded some of the money but I really just wanted the leaf replaced. I’m really disappointed with the experience and won’t make this mistake again.”

I called Ashley customer service and explained to them the issue I told the representative on the phone it was the front left side leg #2 but ended up receiving #1 front right side which I could not help solve the problem but gladly I had to call again ashley the rep. Ended up making it better by replacing the entire chair so I’ll be waiting for a chair with no defects. Thank you!”

“It fits the space perfectly; the padded chairs are cozy. Assembly took awhile and we couldn’t get the legs to level on a few chairs. The excessive amount of carpenter staples on the packaging were difficult to remove. But we are very pleased with the quality and design of the table!”

“I've had a terrible experience with my recent purchase. The quality control at Ashley furniture seems to be non-existent. The table I received was damaged in one corner, and the leaf was also damaged. One of the chairs that came with the set was also broken I'm still waiting on the replacement. The table was replaced swiftly, but also arrived with some damage on one side. The most Ashley Furniture could do was offer a measly 10% discount for the hassle. They couldn't even send any materials to try and cover up the most recent issue. It's a shame that Ashley Furniture can't take care of their products as much as they do their lovely showroom floor.”

“The table leaf had a chip out of the edge, one leg had a chunk out of the top, 3 chairs had damaged staining and scratches, the table top has 5 random grooves that look terrible which you can not see from the photos online. The damaged parts were replaced after multiple calls and it has been a hassle dealing with Ashley. Will not purchase from them again.”

“The furniture is sturdy and it's easy to install the leaf. Ours came with a couple of dings and blemishes from shipping. Nothing worse than it will collect in a few months. A lot of straps are stapled to the bottom of the table. You'll have to cut the straps close or pull out staples so they can't be seen after setup. The chair design/construction is a little off and it's hard to get it all fitting close and level.”

“The table and chairs are very sturdy and well made. HOWEVER one thing I did not see a single reviewer note (as I read through many of the reviews) is that the table has intentional gouge marks in its top. Apx three deep gouges on each leaf. It is a somewhat "distressed" look which is popular these days but this is a beautiful table which I at first thought was damaged. This is a major disappointment as I was buying this table to replace an old table that had a similar look, only that was through years of wear and tear. Why anyone would want to take a perfectly polished, new table, and put a bunch of gouges in it, is beyond me. I expressed my dissatisfaction to Ashley and they did right by this. But the description should mention this because I imagine most people don't want NEW furniture that is purposely damaged before they ever receive it in their home.”
