“This bench is very pretty and we loved it upon opening it. Unfortunately, after having it for about 3 month the wood veneer on the side of the seat is coming off in several places. This is after light use. I am very disappointed as it is very noticeable. The table and chairs appear to be made out of a more quality wood, but the bench is a cheap veneer.”

“I didn't really care to put this together but then again, it only took about 5 minutes maybe. The screws go into a metal sleeve and the screws have blue locktite on them, so they should never loosen up and if they do, I have plenty of locktite in the garage, it will not take long to fix it up, unlike some of the other cheap bar stools I have that do not stay together because the screws go into wood and just loosen up. I gave it a four star rating just because I had to put it together but other than that, I really like it.”

Only issue was some minor damage to the bench (minor!) Not happy with any damage on a new product but would not send it back based on said minor damage. Better packaging for shipping would be my suggestion! :-) All in all good product for the money spent.”

“Recently ordered this bench (and rest of the set) from the Ashley website. Shipping was fast and everything arrived quickly. Assembly was simple and easy. The bench and rest of the set feels solid and looks much more expensive than it costs. I would gladly recommend this family-friends. The only issue I had was one of the chairs was missing the hardware, but I emailed Ashley support and they mailed me out the hardware at no charge.”

Pretty and functional

“I purchased this product as a set with the dining table and 4 chairs. All the pieces seem to be high quality and look a lot more expensive than they actually cost. All of the pieces arrived in excellent condition, except for the bench which had an edge smashed. I contacted Ashley, and after emailing a few pictures and a description of the issues, they sent me a brand new bench within a couple days. I was greatly impressed by their customer service. However, the new bench that they sent also had a small dent in the top. I was having a dinner party the following night and needed the seating, and the defect isn't too terribly noticeable, so I decided to keep it with the dent rather than trying to replace it again. I also counted off a star because the bench does not sit completely level, which is a slight annoyance.”
