“I love the look and feel of them, however the veneer on one of the seats wasn't sealed correctly. Now on one of the edges the veneer is chipping off! The wood underneath is also chipping apart. It's as if the wood underneath was already coming apart and veneer was applied over it anyway. The other chairs are holding up fine and don't have that problem. However now the one chair looks horrible!”

“We were upgrading from a previous dining room set that included a round table/4 chairs to a larger table that can seat 6. We purchased two of these chairs because they appeared to be a close match to our existing chairs. While they are a pretty good match, the curvature of the seats has changed to be more flat.
There were a couple of spots where the wood was damaged on each of our chairs, and the black finish wasn't as smooth as it should have been. We didn't notice it until the chairs were assembled, so we'll probably sand out the issues/use furniture markers to hide the blemishes. Given that we didn't pay a fortune for these, we're dealing with it, but we would have preferred if these issues were caught prior to packing/shipping.”

“I was very pleased with the chairs I ordered. The brown seats were close to the same color-2 were slightly lighter, 2 darker. Since I will be putting a cushion on them, I have no problem with that. Assembly was easy. The only suggestion I have is the picture & letter identifier for the bolts wer shortest, longest, middle-perhaps in length order will make it a little easier.”

“The chairs were pretty easy to put together. Several bolts, and 10-20 minutes per chair to be exact. The chairs aren't too heavy to pick up and move around, and they feel pretty sturdy and wide to sit on.
The only issues I have with the chairs is on hardwood floor they are not perfectly level. I had to pad up a few feet with felt pads to keep them from wobbling. Also, the instructions and hardware were heavily stapled to the underside of the chair, and did damage the underside of the wood a bit.”

“These Owingsville Dining Chairs were a quality of life improvement for my family--for many reasons. First of all, the shipping for these chairs came in record timing--less than 48 hours after ordering them. I couldn't believe it!
Second, the assembly process for these chairs was super easy to understand and put together. Each chair has their own fasteners and Allen wrench, along with an easy-to-read directions sheet. My husband and I purchased 6 of these chairs and got them together in less than an hour.
Third, these Owingsville dining chairs are very strong! To be candid, my relatives who are overweight complained about my old set of dining room chairs because they felt they were too light and cheaply made and felt unsafe in them. These Owingsville chairs can handle the weight of various family and friends well.
Fourth, they are super stylish and fit well with our black colored dining room table that I kept. So far, I do not need to purchase felt for the chair legs because the chairs glide across my vinyl floor without scratching them. And the seats themselves are super comfortable for being pressed wood/wood parts! Sitting in these Owingsville chairs made me realized how terrible and rickety the old IKEA chairs were.
Speaking of cheap--these Owingsville chairs cost $5 more per chair than my old set of chairs--and by far exceed the old ones in comfort, style, and functionality.
If you are looking for beautiful chairs on a budget, I highly recommend these Owingsville chairs!”
