“I haven't sat on it, have had it about a month or so and noticed a pretty substantial scratch on it. I read the other reviews mentioning how easily this and the matching table and chairs scratch so easily, I thought well I am only using it every so often so it should be okay... so not sure how or what scratched it, have no children, it's a mystery. The set looks very nice but durability really is not good.. I would have probably purchased something else if I really seen for myself beforehand how easily any and everything will leave a mark on it.”

“Glad I decided to make the additional purchase. I didn’t need the bench but since the price was so good with free s/h I couldn’t think of a reason not to move forward.
The bench has a good weight, looks fantastic, and is actually a pretty cool seating option. I didn’t need it for my dining set since I optioned for the six (6) chairs instead but I think it’s a nice addition to my space sitting in front of the window.
The packaging on this piece faired much better than the table. The box with the legs were still fully secured to the underside of the bench upon delivery which meant the legs were in pristine condition.”

“I wanted a bench at the end of our bed to finish the bedroom design. Most benches I looked at were to expensive and to wide for the area in our bedroom. Then I came up with the idea of being a bench in our bedroom and working as extra seating at our table during the Holidays. This bench will do both! The bench is very stately in it's design and looks beautiful in the bedroom and works great at the table when the family comes over for dinner. The bench arrived just two days after ordering it online. It was easy to assemble and is a show stopper.”
