“Love the bar table. It arrived 2 days after ordering, and was well packaged. While opening the box I noticed 4 one inch screws loose in the box. These were intended to connect the apron to the table. I installed these and tightened the other apron screws. Other than that, the table really is perfect. Nice two-tone stain, black on apron and rich brown on top and legs. Very sturdy table too. If not for the loose apron screws this would be an easy 5 stars.”

“I was very excited to start furnishing my new home. We bought this table for our breakfast area and after pulling it out of the box I found the first bolt would not secure the legs. The other 3 worked fine. I flipped the table over and noted that none of the legs fit fleshly in the corner and have gaps. The surface of the table has a wood chip in it from the production and catches rags and towels when trying to wipe down the surface. I contacted the sales rep and was told a ticket was created and I would be contacted in 72 hours. After no call I got in touch with the sales rep again and she said it is out of her hands. We asked to speak to the manager and got the same response. After this experience I cannot recommend Ashley Furniture as a place to do business.”

My (not very handy) husband put it together, so I dont know exactly how difficult it was, but it didnt seem to take him very long and I didnt hear any curse-words. I need to find stools for it, and Im a little disappointed that they show three stools in the image of the table, but you cant seem to buy the stools individually, only in pairs. And 4 definitely will not fit on one side like I need it to. But the table is great!”

“This Torjin “dining room” table serves a better purpose as a behind-the-couch table for our home theater. It is fairly heavy and definitely sturdy. The table top is almost a copper color and the other part is a smoky dark gray. I chose it because it perfectly matches our theater/man cave decor. Also paired it with two sets of black “Centiar” counter height stools. Although keep in mind only three of those stools will actually fit under the table. The fourth stool we are storing as a spare to pull up on the side of the table if needed. My only reservation about the table (and it’s not the tables fault) is that I wish it was longer so that it WOULD fit four seats. It would be more aesthetically pleasing in our space if it ran along the whole back of our sectional and fit four people but what can you do.”

“Ordered online without seeing it in person but ordered because i needed a narrow table at 72"L and most were 48"L. Communication on shipping was horrible but it was delivered in about 3 weeks or so from what I recall. The box was badly damaged upon arrival from UPS so I fully expected it to be damaged. The table was packed so well though that there were only a couple of minor spots that weren't worth going through a return. The table is BEAUTIFUL. VERY sturdy and heavy. I love it!!! EXACTLY what I wanted. Deep enough to work on a laptop or eat a meal. I recommend if these are the dimensions you need.”

The only reason I gave 4 stars was because it is tall but narrow so it could tip over easily. Should probably have some kind of toggle that can attach it to the wall or sofa to prevent tipping. I would not use it free standing with bar stools as I don't think it would be safe. Needs to sit up against something. Other than that we absolutely love it and might order another. GREAT for the price. We're very happy with it.”
