Great table, albeit poorly shipped

“The table is great! Very solid and perfect for our kitchen. The packing and delivery were disappointing though.
The hardware and manuals were attached to the bottom of the table with about 15 jagged staples that had to be pried out with pliers so they wouldn’t cut our legs when we sat at it. Also the table was barely packed with enough protection. It turned out ok but the box and styrofoam inside were all but destroyed in the shipping process.
It’s also unfortunate Ashley chooses to ship with FedEx Ground, the company that let our box sit in the rain somewhere as it showed up 4 days late and soaking wet. Luckily we got the table out and dry before any damage set in.
Again, this is a nice and solid table that I would buy again if I could inspect the packaging in-store before I took it home.”
