“Great and sturdy and I’m glad I didn’t pay the guys to build it for you because my partner and I built it less than an hour today. It was approx $200 for them to build it.. if you’re capable I say do it yourself and save that money… other than that it was an amazing table!”

Wood separating after 5 days?

“We are very disappointed with this purchase. We have had this dining set for 5 days, and the wood on one of the seats is peeling away. I tried to call customer service to see what they could do to get it replaced or repaired, since it does have a 1 year warranty, and I was told that they could do nothing. The customer service rep I spoke to said it looks like the chair has water damage and that’s why it is peeling. It is absolutely not water damage, we have only had it for 5 days. The wood panel is separated from the chair; water damage would look completely different. Apparently the “warranty” it has isn’t actually a warrenty if after 5 days of use, the wood starts peeling, and the store isn’t willing to do anything about it. I will not be shopping at Ashley furniture in the future.”

“When it was delivered, one of the chairs had a paint chip. We were told by the delivery guys (who were great btw) that a "technician" would be coming to look, which he did. He told my father in law that I would be getting a call or text to have a new chair back delivered and I never got that.
I love the table and chairs but I'm disappointed that I didn't receive the new chair or backing to replace the chipped one.”

“We recently purchased this set for our new house and I wanted something to match the hardwood floors, but also the grey/blue theme of the house. This set is very sturdy and seems durable especially for this price point. Comfortable seating for all 6 and assembly was quick and easy with two people. The blue is not too bright or extreme to match, in some lights you cannot tell the table isn't black and I think its a great fit.”
