“I knew this was made of “mystery wood” before ordering. Saw it in person at an Ashley store. Ordered online (was less expensive) & received very quickly. Box was really beat up on the table but no damage at all. “Mystery wood” is tough. Actually I really like the table & chairs. Also ordered the 4 chairs with padded cushions. Very sturdy. Easy to assemble. Looks great & fits our space perfectly. Only problem was the chemical smell from the cushions. Had to run a box fan with open window on them for about a week. “Off-gassing” I guess. Would recommend to others if you want a sturdy table & chairs that looks like plastic coated wood 🙂”

“Super happy with my chair purchase. I love the color. I love the material. The cushion seems hard at first but once you use them enough, they're extremely comfortable. They're sturdy too. I was concerned that they'd be wobbly, but not at all. Assembly was super easy (and that's coming from someone who's never assembled a single piece of furniture in her life!) Some of the corners of the chair are a little rough, but that wouldn't stop be from recommending them.”

“The chairs really gave us the look that were looking for in the dining room. However, for dining room chairs I truly expected more cushion and comfortability. I thought the seats were wider but that's a mute point. By biggest issue with these is comfortability. We host Sunday dinners with our family and this isn't it. It's almost like sitting on wood of which we don't like. I hope it will get better over time.”
