“We loved the Bennox counter height dining table. Fits great in our smallish space. We are very happy with the product. The ONLY issue is the shipper. FedEx always, and I really mean always, careless with anything they bring here. From anywhere or any store. I almost canceled my shipment right after I ordered when I found out it was them who would be delivering the set. And true to my statement, the box was damaged and there was damage to the table and 1 of the chairs. Thankfully the damage was minimal and I could conceal the chips because they were not in spots where they're not noticeable with use of the brown marker I used to cover the spots. But with that said, as a customer who paid good money, up front, and in full, I should have received undamaged merchandise. The only reason I did not put it my truck and bring it back is 1, I shouldn't have to, I did not damage it. And 2, it should have NOT been damaged to begin with. There was sufficient protection for the items in the box (plastic bags on the wood with 1 inch solid foam around that, inside an industrial cardboard box). If my husband were not here to help the driver get it off the truck, I wonder how he would have managed it alone? Hmmm? So my review is a 4, but honestly, as long as FedEx is your shipper, I won't be ordering anything else. I guess I'm a 1 and done.”

We tightened the screws just how you should, put them all in until they are almost fully in and then went around and really made sure they were tight. One of the chairs also came with a broken leg. All around a fine table once we sanded a few legs down so they all sat on the floor.”

Beware of difficulties returning if there is damage.”

“I was searching for a small table online that wasn't too expensive. I came across this table and liked it. Due to COVID-19, I was unable to come to the store to see it and make a decision if it was the right size. I took a gamble and made the purchase. After making the purchase, a couple of days later, I received a delivery date of 1 week later. On the day of delivery, the delivery guys came to the house with masks. The chairs were already assembled (probably to save time). The table needed the legs assembled. All of this took about 15 mins from the time they entered my house, to assembly and signing the invoice. I did inspect for any damages to my set and gratefully, there wasn't any. I'm glad to have found my little table set. It also opened up a lot of space in my eat in kitchen. It measures 36 inches tall and 42 inches wide and deep. Very nice set!!”

Perfect for my partially disabled father!

“My father didn’t have an appropriate table and chair to sit on while eating - he usually stands and eat on the counter or goes back to his room to eat in his chair without a table since he is partially disabled he can’t just easily sit on any chair. But this table and chair set is perfect for his height and comfort - can easily move in and out of the chair with no difficulty! He is about 5’10 and 200 plus in weight. He said he was happy that now he gets to enjoy all his meals in the kitchen sitting down especially he can join others now around the table while having a meal with his friends and family who visits. I would suggest to still visit an Ashley store so you can get a better idea of the height, built, and comfort for your own preference. I took my dad and he was very pleased especially since he is very particular in what he wants. Also, having it delivered was the BEST - it was easy, quick, and no mess left behind. The two men who unloaded the table and chairs were very kind, friendly, fast and efficient! They only had to tighten the table legs and the chairs were already put together at the warehouse so everything was DONE and in Great Condition. IT IS WORTH HAVING IT DELIVERED & ASSEMBLED! If we had any problems with the table and/or chairs they would have easily taken it back and delivered a new one - no additional fee. Thank you Ashley - I had an amazing buying experience from start to finish!”

Only had this a few months and going to have to sand and repaint the top of this. It needs a heavy sealant on the top because it's not very waterproof as most of this was done from cleaning with a damp rag. Best if you use a table cloth or you will get this quickly.”

“To make a long story short, I received this table a short time ago. I thought it might be a returned item so I emailed Ashley. I was told to unpack it and check for damage. Mu son completely unpacked it only to find the table top was badly damaged. I contacted Ashley to see if they would send me a new table top (only). I’m still waiting for a reply. Being the holiday week, I’ll assume I will hear back next week. Also, when delivered the person/people took it off the truck and set it down. This left the package sitting at the beginning of my driveway, not the end where it would have been out of sight.”
