“The table didn't meet my full expectation because I wanted a bar height table for 2. I didn't want to return it and quite frankly, the price was unbeatable. After modifying it, it's perfect and I love it. I purchased 2x2x8 common board and added 12" pieces to each leg of the table using 2" wooden dowels, wood glue, and 2" mending plates. I didn't attempt to color match, opting instead to paint the extentions with gold leaf spray paint to match our home decor. I also added pads at the bottom of each leg to prevent scratches on the floor and to make it easy to slide if I want to move it. The overall size of the table was perfect for the space and the color (darker than expresso but not quite black) blended well with other furnishings. It's kinda light but it's very sturdy. When drilling into the legs, I had to add a lot of pressure. If it's not real wood, it's the hardest substitute I've ever encountered. The surface is really smooth and needs only a lint free cloth for cleaning. It was packaged well and shipped within the time promised.”

The table seams to get dirty by greasy fingers and hard to come off with that said make sure to use a table cover and or table mats all the time. Outside of that it’s a perfect size for a smaller dining room table or kitchen. The color on the picture is exact to the color of the table and chairs. Also I noticed one of the seat cushions came with a scuffed mark on it which I haven’t been able to take off.”
