“The nightstands are beautiful and very spacious. However, they were delivered by FedEx and both of them came damaged. I contacted Ashley immediately, only to find out the only way for me to get a replacement (since they’re no longer in the original box)is if i donated them…The nightstands are HUGE and very heavy, they would not fit in a car. Only option was a 10% discount, which is $50 each! Basically I paid $1000.00 for 2 pieces of damaged furniture. Disappointed is an understatement.”

“This nightstand is absolutely beautiful. The quality is very nice! The soft close drawers, velvet lining in the top drawer, the size of the nightstand, the outlet in the back, the wide thick handles and the beautiful stone top! Nothing about it looks or feels cheap. I’m definitely getting a second one to match soon.”

Disappointed, underwhelmed and bad business!

“I’ll start with the good—the nightstand has a beautiful marble top, which is its best feature and adds an elegant touch.
However, there are several downsides. First and foremost, this nightstand is not black—it is dark brown. Additionally, the necessary hardware was missing upon arrival, so I now have to wait 10 more days to fully assemble them and they are sitting in my foyer without legs. On top of that, the drawer does not have a soft-close feature, which is disappointing for the price.
Another frustrating issue was the pricing. When I first added it to my cart, it was $499 (picture included), but the next day, the price jumped to $549(now on the website). I reached out to the company to see if they would honor the original price, but they refused.
Overall, while the marble top is nice, but the misleading color description, lack of soft-close drawers, missing hardware, and price change left me feeling disappointed and underwhelmed.”

“This is the 2nd expensive nightstand I ordered from Ashley and both came damaged. After multiple phone calls and demands for full refund, Ashley finally agreed. I opted not to order a 3rd nightstand as I am not confident Ashley can deliver this nightstand with marble top without damaging it.”

“Nightstand is gorgeous and great quality. Shipping experience with FedEx was horrible. Original two nightstands I ordered were both damaged. Of the two replacements, one was perfect. The other had damage on the marble. Because it was a chip on the backside of the marble, I chose not to send it back again. It was too much of a hassle to dispose of the damaged ones. Local delivery should be an option to avoid this issue.”

“It’s hard to know how to rate this because the one that wasn’t damaged is gorgeous (we ordered a pair). The other one was all smashed up and looked like the box had been dropped on its front — drawers misaligned, pegs sticking out, and screws loose. The replacement that we received a week later was damaged also — same issue. (Both through Fedex) So we ended up with two damaged nightstands out of three. Not to mention the Ashley company policy that you have to donate items in order to receive a replacement. Donation places DO NOT want a broken nightstand. I think the company needs to seriously rethink its shipping protocol.”

“The product is lovely if it arrives intact. I ordered two of these the first arrived intact and lovely. The second arrived broken. They sent me a replacement and again it was broken and joints making it impossible to complete assembly. Do not order as it is either poorly constructed or the contractors who deliver do not care about maintaining standards.”
