“This piece of furniture doesn't feel or look "cheap" like many of the slightly lower priced laminated offerings do. It's quite substantial in not only weight, but appearance. Construction seems rock solid and it looks great! Impressive design and pleased with purchase.”

“I bought this bed almost 3 months ago. It’s beautiful and sturdy but it’s been a nightmare to change the bedsheets!! The space for mattress from top to bottom is 80” but the mattress is 80”, no way to fit the sheets between, there should be a gap of at least 2” like all the beds have. I called to the customer service and they said there’s nothing they can do. Awful”

Do Not Buy – Strong Chemical Odor and Misleading Information

“I purchased this bed in-store and confirmed with an Ashley representative online (Meghan) that it was safe and did not contain any toxic materials. I was specifically told this before delivery. After it was delivered, the chemical off-gassing smell was so bad that we had to sleep in the living room on a blow-up mattress for a week because the bedroom was unbearable. Even our guest down the hall couldn’t stand the smell.
The morning after the delivery, I looked up the bed frame online to check what other reviewers mentioned. That is when I saw under the question section here that Ashley Furniture states this bed may contain formaldehyde, which completely contradicts what Ashley told me before I bought it. I reached out immediately with screenshots of the chat showing I was misled but Ashley only offered an exchange or store credit, which doesn’t solve the problem.
This bed made my home smell like chemicals and the information I was given before delivery was false. Very disappointing experience. I would never have bought it if I had known what materials were used.”
