“We bought this bed for our son. It’s worth the price, however I will say that the side boards are very flimsy. I’d rather pay a bit more and get two side boards that are more sturdy. Other than that, it’s a good bed.”

“Beautiful bed. Just wish it had better support for the mattress. Only 3 slats and 3 wood posts supporting those slats. We bought the bed online so I didn't know what the support looked like underneath. Our previous bed had the wood slats too. However, over time the wood posts that are perpendicular to the slats...the ones that support the weight of the mattress got tweaked and wouldn't stay straight. So, basically nothing was supporting the weight of the middle of the mattress. Hopefully that won't happen with our current bed. Am concerned though because it is built the same. Well, if worse comes to worse, we'll remove the slats and buy one of those old fashion metal frames and insert it into the middle of the bedframe so basically the bedframe will just be a facade...not actually supporting the mattress...just for looks.”
