Poor finish quality/Arrived used and damaged

“The product would probably be ok if the quality of finish and arrival condition had been better. The item arrived with no crating. Two delivery men carried the "white glove" item into my house. We examined it. There was damage on all visible sides and top of dresser. I questioned this. The delivery guys stated that the item came directly from the Atlanta Ashley "refurbishing" center. I called the number provided for item replacement. The operator requested pictures, which I took and uploaded. The resolution of the issue was that they gave me the damaged dresser and refunded my purchase price. I guess they did not want the pain of picking it back up and bringing another. To some, this might sound great, but I have had the same issue with the King footboard I received from Ashley. Two of the six pieces of the set were damaged on arrival. That's not a very high level of quality. Probably my first and last Ashley experience.”

“Ashley furniture has been a headache with my furniture. I have been dealing with the Porter collection since April 2025 and now in October 2025. Drawers not sliding all the way in, crooked drawer, loose drawer, you name it. I have had so many technicians as they call it, that have come out. Reorders, on nightstand, mirror, headboard, drawers and drawers; colors wrong, don't fit, wrong drawer etc. This has been a headache. This is the first time I have ever been very unhappy, disappointed and frustrated with Ashley. Buy it if you like, hope your experience is better than mine.”

“Was delivered damaged, wrong color, wrong knobs, very poor workmanship, etc. Had been waiting over three months for the “custom” dresser. Waited almost a month for my refund but finally was told I would need to visit the store to get the refunded amount back on my credit card. Tried for over 40 minutes to get the refund but it would only return a partial amount. Now I have to wait again for the remaining amount to be sent to me via a mailed check. Not sure why a check was not sent in the first place. Not a good experience at all.”
