Questionable quality and inflexible technician support. Don't recommend this furniture.

“This product along with Lyncott 5 drawer chest were delivered on 12/28. When they were delivering these items, I noticed that there were scratches here and there on the side of the dresser. I reported those to the delivering staff and he told me that I needed to contact a technician to come out to look at it, but he would file the incident for me. Right after the delivery crew left, I also found that a piece of wood at the bottom of the dresser fell off. When I checked the 5 drawers dresser chest which I also bought as a set, I also found the front leg of the chest was broken as well. I immediately contacted sale representative and I got transferred to a technician, who told me that he would be the one who come out to my house to fix the furniture. He said he could not come on the same day but he was able to schedule me a later date and I specifically told him that I would only be available in the afternoon as I had a pre arranged appointment with DMV and I was only available in town for certain days. Technician confirmed that they could come in the afternoon of the day I was scheduled. Two days before the day when technician was supposed to come in, an automatic message was left and informed me that they would be coming in between 9- 12noon. I called the representative line again to let them know I was only available after 1pm , but they told me that they have no control on the time frame when they come and if I can't make it home, I can only reschedule for another date. We have very limited availability as we are not in town all the time and we got rescheduled to 2/18 which will be almost 2 months after the delivery. Even I would like to return them, they said the technician still needs to come out to check the condition of the furniture before we can return. 2/18 will be way too far out as it will definitely pass the 30 days return window. So, I call the sale rep line again and the rep said she could schedule a tech to come in on 1/21 but she still can't guarantee the time frame for technician coming in and I just can wait for their call on that date. I waited the the entire afternoon, but no one called. I got an email from them to re schedule the next day. I am not satisfied with the quality of the furniture to begin with, right after the items got delivered, they broke. Seriously? When I tried to get a technician to come in to fix it, there is not much date availability from them and even I was scheduled a date, they could not guaranteed a time frame to come in and I needed to wait the entire day for them to give me a response after they did not show up on that scheduled date. I have bought their 5 years reguard plans as well, but scheduling with a technician to come out is a pain in the neck. I am stuck with these two pieces of furniture that can't be used as they have been broken from day one when they were delivered. The technician won't come till another couple weeks, hopefully! I am hesitant to purchase any more furniture from Ashley again.”

“I’ve been taking a chance ordering stuff online lately, and I’ve been batting a thousand. So, I saw the Lyncott dresser, which had no ratings, but I ordered it anyway because I liked the look of it, and I had recently ordered the bed (which was still boxed up). Well, I just received the dresser a few days ago and it’s GORGEOUS!!! I’m very hard to please, but this is a winner! It looks exactly like it looked online, and it’s heavy, appears to be well built, and it sits high!!! I love it!!! If you’re looking for a bed and dresser worth the money and time, look at the Lyncott line. It does not disappoint! I’m sorry I don’t have pictures yet, but this is a winning line of furniture. I’m so happy!!!”
