Order Cancellation Turned Into a Nightmare

“This review is about my experience with Ashley’s customer care, which has been nothing short of frustrating.
I accidentally ordered the wrong product and realized it within an hour. I immediately requested cancellation, but customer care told me the order wasn’t yet in their system and to contact them again in 6–24 hours. By the time I followed up, I received an email that my order had already shipped.
When I contacted them again, I was told a cancellation request had been submitted and that a “specialist” would reach out in 3–5 business days. Instead, the packages arrived at my home within two days. Once more, I had to call, and this time they initiated a return request—again promising that a specialist would contact me in 3–5 business days. I waited, but no one reached out until I followed up yet again. Eventually, I was able to return the packages.
Now, over a week later, I’m still waiting for my refund.
Long story short: This entire ordeal could have been avoided if Ashley had canceled my order before shipping. The lack of coordination between their customer care team and order fulfillment is alarming. Because of this experience, I will avoid shopping at Ashley in the future.”

“The beds arrived sooner than expected. Assembling it wasn't difficult, however, it took my husband and I around an hour to finish the beds. I absolutely love it, though the beds are slightly longer than I thought.”
