I originally had it next to the bed, but when I brought it up, bringing onto the bed my little one has been sleeping 5-7 hours a night, it may be due to her being closer to me, although I can't be certain.”

“My newborn daughter loves this bassinet. She was sleeping in the bassinet insert in her pack n play but was very fussy throughout the night because she was so far away from us. This bassinet allows her to be close to us but still in her own safe sleep space.
HOWEVER I did break my toe on the damn thing because the color of the legs blend right in with the carpet in our bedroom. My husband put a neon green pool noodle on the bottom and the next time I stubbed my toe it didn't hurt at all 😂😂 I definitely recommend this dollar store hack if you have the same problem that I did.”

Perfect bassinet for smaller spaces

“I have a narrow space next to our bed that would not accommodate a larger "standard" bassinet. This one fits perfectly. It is also shallower than others which I really like (it's about 6 inches deep), which eliminates the need for the drop-side I had originally been hoping for when the sides are deeper to make it easier to get baby out - not needed here. I disagree with others that it is heavy - I easily move it around, and although wheels would make it easier it would not be as sturdy once in place if it had wheels. The bassinet on mine is level and the only assembly was putting 4 bolts into the legs and snapping the already assembled bassinet onto the legs. Good price and well made!”

Stylish - it doesn’t look tacky.
Easy to assemble! 5 minutes.
Lightweight so you can easily move it.
Adjustable height - although not intended, you can have the legs at different heights to create an incline.
Neutrals:
Firm mattress - safe, but not the most comfortable
Cold sheets - we just bought a 3-pack of jersey cotton sheets to go on the mattress
Weight limit - although it says 15 pounds, it can easily hold at least 20.
Cons: the bassinet is not level. The side with the pockets is lower to the ground, so don’t use the pockets. Although it leans, we found this helpful. My son didn’t want to turn his head to the right, so we placed him in the direction for his head to fall to the right. Then, we rotated directions to prevent flat spots on his head. (Our previous son had a helmet)
Additionally, some people said their baby hated it, and I just want to let new parents know that your baby will hate every bassinet for the first few weeks. They just want to be held.”

I almost bought a different bassinet because of the reviews where customers disliked the pockets, but I’m glad I decided to go ahead with this one. I can still fit all the diapers and wipes I need for middle of the night changes, and I don’t even have to leave my bed to do it! Dog lovers solution

“Yes, we have a 10 pound dog who insists on sleeping with us.... we were losing so much sleep with his crawling around all night on us that we bought this as a hopeful solution. We put his favorite blanket in the bed and he just walked over to it, and got in. He now sleeps in the bed for most of the night and morning. Everyone is getting better sleep now. Our dog claims it is very comfortable and sturdy. As for this product for infants, I have no idea other than it is extremely easy to build and is light enough to move around easily.”

“Easy to put together, my new baby seems to enjoy it granted I have a soft blanket covering the bed for extra comfort. Only problem I had is the maneuverability of it. If you need to move it you need to pick it up entirely some others have locking wheels. Structurally this unit is more stable due to not having wheels or a real way to move it without picking it up off the floor but it can be an inconvenience for some.”

I was a little worried by previous reviews

“Other reviews claimed this was too hard to put together, and didn't work as it should. I'm estimating from the time I dumped everything out on my bed to the time I moved it to the side of my bed, completed, was about 5 minutes.... at 8 months pregnant. There are litteraly 4 parts to it, 4 screws in the 3 part base and the top snaps on. I can't fathom how anyone would put this together incorrectly, but maybe it's pregnancy brain.
The unit seems durable, the frame is made from solid metal with plastic end caps.
My only, very small, complaint would be that it has almost a new car smell to it, I'm glad I'm putting it together (hopefully) a month early so it can air out adequately, but I'm sure the smell will have dissipated within a few days.
On the huge plus side it has pockets on the corners that face the bed that I missed in the description, which will be perfect to stuff a few diapers/wipes/whatever in. And the unit comes with a sheet, which I don't see in the description.
The top comes off and can be washed, and the mattress is waterproof, although I'd still put a pad under it for easier clean up.”

“We purchased this after reading MANY reviews on various bassinets before our son was born. Hes now 11 weeks and overall I'm pleased with the purchase.
I will say that it has started to lean in towards the bed from me leaning on it slightly each time I get him out of it in the middle of the night. We already had to place a towel under the mat due to slight reflux, so a simple adjustment of that towel combats any chance of him 'rolling', however the lean isnt near drastic enough that it was much of a concern in the first place.”

I love the adjustable height feature, when I was looking at bassinets I specifically wanted something I could put right up against the bed and be able to reach into easily. Because of the leg design, the bassinet can be rolled right up against the bed, which will be so nice on the off chance my recovery is difficult like it was with my first baby—it will be so nice to just reach over without having to get out of bed. I also love the mesh sides, I’ll be able to see baby while laying down without having to sit up to look. Can’t wait to put it to use, can’t have designed something better if I dreamt it up.”

Sturdy bedside bassinet

“I bought this while I was in the hospital, when I realized that I couldn't sleep without seeing my newborn breathe. This certainly is nice in that regard; I don't have to look far to know that he is safe. After a few weeks, I felt more comfortable moving him a few feet from the bed. This thing is heavy! I wish that there were rollers on it, or that it could glide, because getting out of bed proved a bit more difficult than I would like. Looking back, I wish that I had just gotten a normal bassinet on wheels (they have less expensive, nicer bassinets with storage, wheels, and canopies) and scooted that close to the bed for a few weeks. Now this is a hulking piece of furniture in my room that I wish that I could change. All in all, if you're looking for a no frills bedside bassinet that won't budge, this is great! Just not for me.”

“I am happy with the purchase. My son sleeps very well in it even on what I thought was a too thin Materass. The material of the Materass is plastic which was very convenient for some diaper accidents and spits up we experienced.
Little heavy to move, but nice to have very close to my bed. It can even be adjusted to go over your bed. The mesh on both sides is great. We found our baby a couple of time with his face smashed against it But we were not worried thanks to it.
I wished it had a rocking option but this is based on the day after considerations. I would suggest to buy it if you need something simple to keep close to you.”

“My wife and I bought this for our baby daughter, wanting to have her with us in the room but not in our bed. For that purpose, it works fine. It does tuck under our bed reasonably well but does not sit high enough to not be pushed up my our mattress. We do have an extra-tall bed, to be fair.
The bassinet as a whole is relatively well-made and is easy to assemble. It has wheels so it can be slid around the floor more easily, but I find myself just picking it up to move it as it's not terribly heavy. The only real complaint I have about it is that it doesn't appear to sit flat. I've noticed the bassinet tilted ever-so-slightly to one side, which could be an issue for some folks. My baby will lean over to that side a bit but doesn't really mind.
Especially considering how expensive competing options are, if cost is a major factor for you as it was for us, definitely give this a shot. It'll get the job done.”

Since I didn’t see this bassinet on display I was a bit iffy at first. I’m the type that needs to feel things before buying, but I’m very happy with this purchase! The bassinet’s height is adjustable so it was able to fit perfectly along my bed! The depth of the bed is perfect enough for me not to have to struggle to put my newborn down or lift her up, the mesh allows airflow and allows me to have a good view on my baby when I’m lying in bed. I’m used to certain bassinets having wheels to make moving easy and being a bit lighter in weight but having a toddler also I’m glad it’s a bit heavy and doesn’t have wheels to make it easier for her to push and move! Overall I’m super happy with this bassinet. The color is perfect, the depth of the bed is perfect so that I can see the baby from far or up close. My friends that have visited me have all been super impressed by it as well! Again Delta Children has not let me down! My friend is due with her baby in October and I’m planning on purchasing this for her. Looks like a large pillowcase will make an adequate extra sheet. Overall a much better deal than the much more expensive brand of bed height bassinets.”
