“We love this high chair. Maxi Cosi thought of everything! The recline function is a must for those post lunch naps! I love how it has extra padding for comfort that can easily be removed and thrown in the washing machine. The chair itself is beautiful with gray and wood tones and is a welcome addition to our dining room. It even has locking caster wheels to make relocation a breeze! We will be able to continue using this chair thanks to its many configurations. Well with the investment!”

The WORST high chair and dangerous!

“So disappointed in this product and now we have to spend more money & time to buy a safer more reliable option for our twins after my son slipped on the floor trying to get him out of the arm strap. As you buckle or unbuckle a wiggly one year old in/out they can easily fall right out in the matter of seconds. This design needs to be changed to have a permanent piece up the middle to secure and prevent a child from falling out EVER, and for a parent to be able to safely take a child in and out of the high chair and not have to go so quick because you are worried they will slide out and fall as you are doing or undoing the arm straps! Another note is the fabric is almost impossible to keep clean! If you like a grimy high chair 24/7 this is the one for you! The crotch buckle gets food down the cracks of it constantly and you have to literally disassemble the entire chair just to get to that buckle to clean the food out from it! GROSS! Lastly the wheel stoppers are a joke! The lock feature doesn't even work on kitchen floors, you can still move the high chair about. Every-time we feed our twins they rock and scoot the high chairs all over the kitchen, it's a nightmare to feed them and it shouldn't be for the price of this chair. We would never recommend this product to anyone!”

“I am obsessed with our new Maxi Cosi Minla 6-In-1 High Chair. This high chair is everything you could want and more. It's stylish, comfortable, safe, and ultra versatile with five recline positions, nine different heights, and four tray positions. Both my baby and my toddler can sit in it comfortably, and my toddler loves it so much he cries when it's time to get out. I can match it to the height of any dining table or counter, and it works great as a stand alone. I love that I can even turn it into a booster when the kids are bigger. The wheels are super convenient and it's really easy to move about the room. It's also super easy to store and folds right up. Cleaning is also a breeze with the tray cover I can put food right on and remove to wash, as well as a machine washable seat cover. And as an added bonus- it looks so good. The design is modern and sleek, and I love the wood style of the legs and gray color.”

Very Difficult to Clean

Although there are parts that can be thrown in the washing machine, it is so difficult to wipe clean and it has a lot of cracks in the plastic part that I cannot get food out of. “I'm a second time mom and I've been a lot of highchairs throughout the years but none I have seen compares to the MINLA. I am all about versatility and freedom to customize settings and the Minla delivers exactly that. This is the ONLY chair you'll ever need from newborn to your child turns 6. That's a incredible mileage for such a smart product. The back has various recline positions perfect for babies (especially those with acid reflux or prone to spit ups and need to be in an elevated position), it comes with a newborn insert for newborns for a snug comfy fit. What draw me most aside from the recline positions was the 9 height adjustments which gives me the freedom to use the chair from countertop height, dinner table or closer to the floor for my toddlers to "do it themselves" and climb to buckle themselves in. It comes with a toddler booster seat when the chair is outgrown and you can easily switch out the chairs without breaking a sweat. The tray comes with a removable top cover for speedy clean ups and it has a one hand adjustment with is convenient for busy moms like me. My kids honestly LOVE IT. Not only for mealtimes but its become their favorite movie watching spot. Cannot recommend this chair enough.”

I even got rid of my rocker because i wasn't rocking my baby anymore anyways just laying him there to rest, feed or what not. This chair now saves me space in my house. “Wheels do NOT lock. The locking switches don't actually work. Read the other reviews warning of the same problem. Here is a direct quote from customer service: "Even though the wheels are locked they will slide on a smooth surface." Apparently they consider all surfaces from kitchen flooring to hardwood floors to rubber mats to be "smooth." Customer service made me jump through hoops of taking pictures and videos only to give me a one line reply and stop helping.”

I have beef with this high chair.

“We have had this highchair since birth. We loved it when she was little and only drinking milk, the recline was nice for while I was cooking and she could be drinking her bottle apart of it. Then she turned 6mo and we started BLW, The tray was way too tall and her little feet cant touch the stool on the closest setting in the 90 degree angle their legs should be at for proper posture. Now at one year old this chair promotes slouching and improper posture to eat at. He legs still cannot be at a proper 90 degrees and it has a slight recline at the most upright position. I love that it does so many other things but it's just not the right fit anymore”

“After three kids and countless military moves, we've become somewhat of high chair gurus after having gone through so many over the years. So I can confidently say, this is the best high chair we've ever owned. Honestly, I wish we had this from the first baby! One of the best things about the Minla High Chair is that it will grow with your baby, so you don't have to replace it as they get older! Besides the beautiful design, there is also a flip up footplate that is removable and the tray will click onto the back of the high chair when not in use. The seat cushion is double padded and so comfortable, and it reclines so that you can even use it with a newborn. My six-week-old loves it! However, with a few quick modifications, I can use the booster seat with my toddler. You also have the option of removing the high chair seat and attaching it to a chair at the table. If you do this and have a kid who needs a booster seat, you could do both at the same time! This high chair is made to last. If you're looking for high quality, durability, and functionality, this is it. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”

“This Is the high chair I never knew I needed! Not only does it grow with baby, it offers so many different ways of use. It is lightweight and easy to set up. I absolutely love that it has a storage space for the tray! I have never seen a high chair that can be raised and lowered to adjust height. This feature is awesome as can be used at both my table and counter top (bar height) with the booster setting. I also liked the option that both seats can be used on a chair. It appeared very comfortable and is easy to wash which is a big plus! Since there are so many options for use and it grows with baby to 50 pounds, this is the only high chair/booster you will ever need. While it was easy to set up, the instruction manual only had pictures so it took me awhile to figure out how to install all of the different options. It was also difficult to remove the tray from the storage space on the back of the high chair. There was no picture of how to remove it, so I assumed you just pull hard and that worked.”

Versatility at the cost of individual function

“We started using this high chair exclusively for mealtimes starting at 6 months old, at 12 months we moved it from the high base to strapped to a chair. Hard to clean. We usually placed a towel over the cover so food didn't get between the cover and the seat base (it usually did). To clean out the base without the cover we hosed it down outside, a cloth does not reach the negative spaces in the plastic. The crotch retention on the tray is annoying. I understand why it's on the tray, it's so it can be a lounger too. We never used it for that. But the tray doesn't sit flat, so if you don't take the tray cover off, set it down, then take the tray base off (which we rarely did because mealtimes have full counters and table), and our child's legs didn't slip easily through when we left the tray base on, so when we pull her out we took the whole assembly off and when set it down, it tilts enough so it was impossible to keep liquid (or peas) on the tray. Also, it's easiest to wipe down the kiddo when the tray is off and I can reach face, hands, arms, torso, and lap, otherwise, I wear the meal too. I also think it leans too far back, especially when using it to boost our kiddo to the table, and also sits a little too low in that use case. I was looking forward to getting rid of the tray, but she can hardly reach food on the table and can't see the food in the far sections of a deep sectioned plate. When disassembling it, while manipulating the switches and hold and lifting it, the negative spaces in the plastic wedged, then pulled a diamond out of the bottom of my wedding band. Next time, I'll just buy a high chair that is made for mealtimes, not a lounger, booster, high chair, etc., and one without a cover. We'll keep using it for now, but it'll be a good day when I can donate it (I was thinking of throwing it, but because there are some good reviews I'll give tips to a new owner and they can decide if they like it or not).”

Defective twice

“I got this as a gift and was excited to use it. It's beautiful, convenient and looked really nice in my kitchen. After several months of using it the back rest became slanted I noticed my baby falling to one side. I immediately called customer service and within a couple of weeks had a brand new one. It's been about 2 months now and it happened again. How does this happen. I am a full time working mom and I don't have the patience to be dealing with this. I have to now buy a new high chair, spend more money. I am just in shock that 2 of the high chairs are defective.”

“As a mom (who happens to also be a pediatrician) I love this chair. I know a couple of reviews had concerns over safety. I don't find this high chair to be unsafe at all. Accidents with young children are bound to happen but I can't see a child falling out of this chair unless they have been unbuckled or the chair is not being used properly. I've been using this chair for a year and Im purchasing a second for the grandparents to have. I've washed the removable cover several times and so far it has held up well. I find it reasonably easy to clean but I must admit I don't have anything to compare it to. I also have yet to use the booster seat as my little one is not yet old enough. My favorite thing about the chair is how compact it becomes if folded down when not in use. I would definitely recommend.”

High chair with multi functions

“The first comment from my wife as she looked at the high chair and went over it was "I love it" We currently have a (almost) 3 year old and a newborn coming in June. We have used a few high chairs with our 3 year old, and this chair so far looks better and is easier to manage (wash, moving around, storage). The first thing to note is that this chair is very easy to put together, my wife, whom is pregnant and had a 2 year old running around her, was able to put it together by herself and very fast. I really like the style of this high chair. It is very easy to clean and the assembly is almost effortless. It's multi functional and it is easy to clean. All in all common this is a great product with a very great idea, but the wheels do make it a bit of a hassel to move. This seat fits in nicely and it doesn't clash with our decor. This will be a beautiful piece of furniture for our little ones to enjoy through the years. It has so many different settings for each and every stage, from baby through childhood years. It lounges and reclines, which makes it very comfortable for our kiddo. Overall, I would highly recommend this chair. It is a little more expensive than some others, but has multiple uses and ease of use that would make this high chair worth it.”

Best long term investment

“This is hands down one of the top 3 best things I've invested in when my son was born a little over two years ago. Expensive but worth every single penny. In addition to its many features our son learned to walk with it. He loved crawling over to the chair and pushing it around. I could write an essay about the many things I love about the chair, but in short I love how easily it moves around, it can be quickly folded up and stowed away, it rolls nicelt on the floor without scratching it, it has breaks!!!!, it's super easy to wash the seat cover etc etc. More than two years on and it still looks brand new. We love it.”

As your child grows, it can grow with them and be used as a conventional highchair, a booster seat (where the seat part is removed and mounted onto a chair), and even a stool. This chair needs design a change

“First day of use a baby slipped out of the chair and landed on the floor. There needs to be a design change, where there is a stop in the crotch area to keep a baby from sliding out. The current design has the stop on the tray, but once the tray is removed, there is nothing to stop a squirming baby from sliding out. My DIL removed the tray, undid the safety belts, was taking out the baby and turned her head due to a noise and that split second was enough to have the baby land on the floor and smack her head. This is not a first child and my DIL is a wonderful caring mother and knows the hazards of turning your back even for a second. We will now be watching the baby for signs of concussion. A older model of chair was being replaced by this new chair, and now I wish I had never got it for them. We will be getting rid of this chair. The old chair is much safer. I would never buy this type of chair again and would never recommend it to anyone else. Nothing is worth the safety and well being of a baby. A change in style could prevent this kind of accident in the future.”

“This high chair fits in so great with our decor. It's not loud and bulky like most baby products. This seat fits in nicely and it doesn't clash with our decor. This will be a beautiful piece of furniture for our little ones to enjoy through the years. It has so many different settings for each and every stage, from baby through childhood years. It lounges and reclines, which makes it very comfortable for our kiddo. I love how the tray sits nicely on the back when not in use. It's very convenient to grab without struggling to detach like other high hairs. This o tray is nice, smooth and solid. I'm looking forward to using the booster feature. This highchair is made to last. For any first time parents, this is always a concern. This one is solid and will definitely stand the test of time as our kids grow.”

“I have used many modern high chairs while nannying, and none impressed me. They always had awkward crevices to clean, were bulky, and were ugly in top of it all. With my own daughter, I used an antique wood high chair. Not great to clean or super functional, but at least it wasn't unsightly and large. Given this high chair, I'm a convert! The removable tray cover makes clean up a breeze. The fabric is easy to wipe clean. It rolls easily to place it as needed (can do this one handed while holding baby). Adjusting it to the various modes is simple. We took the top seat to a friend's for Christmas Eve dinner; it was easy to move and quick to install on their kitchen chair. I could actually enjoy dinner without a wiggly toddler on my lap. We see many years of use from this seat. And it's not ugly!”

“This high chair has been worth every penny! I waited a while to do a review because I wanted to live with the high chair for a bit and I still feel the same way I did when we bought it. It's just so beautiful I feel like the photos on here perfectly depict how gorgeous this thing is. It doesn't clash with our decor and it's not an eyesore like most high chairs. It's also appearing to grow wonderfully with our nugget, and it's easy to adjust as he grows. I can't wait until he gets older and we can use the booster!! First time parents, do yourself a favor and get this one first. Save yourself the money of having to replace an ugly, clunky high chair and just get this one instead!”

“We love this high chair! It is so easy to use and easy to clean. It is very adjustable which is perfect because we have tables at different heights we can raise it to for when we don't want to use the tray. It is also very compact when not in use and way easier to store out of the way than any other high chair we have used. Put kiddo loves it so much he will try to pull it into the living room and climb into it just to sit! Haha.”
