Decent for the Price but Busted Hardware

“We had this crib on our registry and have had it in use with our baby for 10 months now. Here are our thoughts:
1. The paint quality is not the greatest. We have the white and birch, and the white paint chipped off in a few places within two months of using it. The largest chip is on the top edge, with about 3" of white chip gone.
2. It is relatively simple to put together. Took both my husband and I to do it, but we got it together in less than an hour.
3. We cannot use the bottom level setting, which is upsetting because our 10 month old, who is in the 91st height percentile, can now pull himself up to stand and the top edge doesn't even reach his armpits at the third setting. On the lowest setting, one of the pre-screwed in adjustment screws is glued to the casing, so we can't put the adjustment lever on it, leaving one corner unattached. We will be going to just the floor mattress shortly but I would've liked to get a few more months of containment at night for the baby!
4. The top rail is really convenient for hanging mobiles and monitors.”

Perfect to use as Montessori bed

“I have a 8 month old baby girl , and we decided to transition her to a bed by 7 months. We got the orchard crib and it worked perfectly for what we wanted.
Her nursery looks so cute and functional for her age, and of course that she is loving it.
I am so impressed with the product’s quality and how easy was to assemble.
We totally recommend it, it’s worthy !”

My Twin's Love this bed!

“We received these as a gift from Storkcraft about a month ago. I have two year old twins and needed to transition them to a toddler bed but was undecided on whether to get a single toddler bed or a convertible crib that will grow with them. I am SO happy with our decision to get the 5-in-1 convertible canopy crib. It is such a unique and adorable piece. First - my husband and his friend assembled these cribs very quickly on a Sunday afternoon and had no issues. All parts and equipment lined up just fine. Second - the canopy is SO adorable and I love that we will be able to use the frame for a future playhouse as the girls grow out of the toddler sized bed. Third - the quality is top notch. Very stable wood and yet the crib is very lightweight (as I discovered when I needed to move the beds while cleaning). We have been members of the Storkcraft family since our son was first born seven years ago and have used his original convertible crib for just as long so I know these beds are going to transition just fine as my girls get bigger! I highly recommend these beds. P.S. The canopy is high enough that little ones cannot reach it!”

Fun crib that grows with my child

“I chose this crib because of the style and because it grows with my child. I absolutely loved it more when I got it. It’s very sturdy and well made, and easy for two people to put together. Right now we are using it as a crib, but I love that we can transition this to a daybed, a toddler bed, a full-sized bed, and even a playhouse! My only wish is that it came with all the parts needed to transition through these phases instead of having to be purchased separately. However, it still doesn’t take away from how happy I am with this crib.”

Beautiful crib

“The Orchard 5-in-1 convertible crib was easy to unbox and assemble. Instructions were easy to follow and very thorough. The crib itself converts so many ways and is perfect for any nursery or room. We appreciate that the lowest setting and railing is very low so my 19 month old son won’t be able to climb out of it. He’ll be able to use this for so many years!”

Unique and beautiful

“In a sea of baby cribs that all look alike, as soon as I saw this one I knew I had to have it. I loved the idea that not only was this crib beautiful, but the fact that it turns into a little playhouse when the days they use it as a bed come to an end made it a great investment as well. It came together easily and we absolutely love it.”

Amazing for foster parents; Recommend for anyone!!

“This crib is gorgeous and so versatile! We are getting licensed to be foster parents and we need furniture that can be suitable for any age 0-8. That can be tricky when you live in a smaller space like ours but this crib is perfect for us. If we need a crib or toddler bed, we’re all set in one and if we have an older child who wants to sleep in a twin, this can easily become a play house and stay in the bedroom. Even if you aren’t fostering, this crib is perfect for all of your child’s transitions. It seems durable enough to convert back and forth as many times as you need so it’s definitely built to last. Standard crib mattress fits perfectly (we got the Graco mattress in a box.)
Here are some things I love so far: The crib came well-packaged and well-protected with all parts and hardware marked. There are different sets of screws for the different set ups, so I highly recommend grabbing a few zip lock bags and sorting and labeling each one before you begin. (See pic.) We assembled the crib and changed it to a toddler bed and assembly is great with easy to follow directions! For assembly, it definitely helps to have two people. The pictures in the directions are detailed and show the labels and holes if you need help figuring out the orientation of the pieces. There are also labels that show which side goes down. For each setup, there will be pieces left over for the other setups so don’t worry that you missed something! Before we purchased the crib, we emailed back and forth with customer service and they are personal, friendly and quick to reply! Answered all our questions and encouraged us to always feel free to reach out for help; that was a big deal to me because my husband and I didn’t know anything about cribs and needed some reassurance. Overall this has been a wonderful experience and we’re so in love! Excited for our kiddos to enjoy this crib!”

“At first thought I wondered about the design of this crib, but it makes it so easy to hang mobiles above the baby. Im so in love with this design now. Was very easy to assemble, although I did need additional tools I already had lying around. Was very suprising on how easy and quick it was to assemble. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I can not wait for this crib to grow with my child! Truly its well constructed and easy to wipe off to keep clean! Which is going to be a must with tint little fingerprints touching everything. Im truly in love with this bed!”

“Storkcraft Orchard 5-in-1 Convertible Crib - White is really nice and pretty. I love that this turns into a playhouse which is sp fun. This goes up 3 different height levels and turns into a bed after use. The set up took a couple hours, but you want to have two people set this up. Very nice and sturdy, and it is perfect to help your little one grow and have fun! Thisnis great and will last a lifetime!”

Beautiful timeless piece

“This crib is easy but time consuming to put together. There are a ton of screws and bolts. The instructions are easy to read and understand. I didnt realise that the toddler bed guard rail is sold separately, I'll have to purchase that. Also I thought to be a play house there would be some kind of canopy for the top bar, but there isnt. I would keep these things in mind when purchasing because you're gonna want at least the guardrail. It's a beautiful piece of furniture that changes with age, so going from baby to toddler then a full size bed takes the person this is bought for through at least their teen years.”

Versatile

Solid! But the canopy makes it intimidating.

“This is a solid crib. The heavy weight and long assembly time reflect that.
It took around 2 hours for me to assemble and I am no dud at assembling furniture.
Once assembled the additional height from the canopy makes it intimidating. The canopy is indeed its main selling point, however the kick is that canopy cover is not available for sale yet. So it remains bare and to be honest , looks a bit barren.
From a structural perspective, the canopy allows the crib to be separated into 2 different pieces of furniture and the outer frame (with the canopy) can be used as a tent structure for pretend play once my baby grows up.
It is also pretty solid and my five year old managed to get into this crib along with my baby and this crib held up pretty well with no signs of giving up at all. A standard crib sized mattress and a bu,p guard is definitely recommended to go along with this.
Al in all,a solid crib with potential to be a versatile piece of furniture. Attractive? not without the canopy cover!”

Easy to put together and great features!

“Set up is very easy and quick! The parts were well labeled and the instructions were straight forward. The crib is very smooth and feels sturdy. I was worried that I'd never trust my baby alone in a crib, but seeing how strong and sturdy this is actually relaxes me.The mattress height is adjustable. I'm excited to convert the crib into one of the may options when my baby gets of age! My only concern is that you have to buy the parts to convert the crib into a toddler bed, but the parts are most likely already found in your home.”

Our baby loves it!

“Our baby is 8.5 months old and she's been sleeping in a crib since she was 4 months. We had a crib that didn't have the option to adjust the hight for the mattress and it was pretty hard to bend down so low when you would put her to sleep and uncomfortable to pick her up. So we decided to get her a new crib. She's only rolling over and not standing not pulling herself up. This crib arrived on time and every piece was nicely wrapped, all the screws are market with letters and it tells you how many are in each bag. Every part of the crib is also market with numbers. It took my wife and I about an hour to put it together. The instructions are easy and precise so you can't get it wrong. It comes with everything you need, so no need for extra tools. We love the crib, it's we'll made, solid and looks so cute. It is great that has 3 high adjustments levels for the mattress and it tranforms into a toddler bed also. Our baby was so happy and smiling when we put her down in her new crib for the first time. We are so pleased with this purchase. Amazing quality and value.”

“My sister has a Stockcraft crib and is very happy with it. So when it was time to choose a crib, I felt comfortable with the brand but instead of a regular crib I opted for a Storkcraft Orchard 5 in 1 convertible crib( in white)..I love the versatility of this crib, that grows with your child .First, it is a classic standard crib (uses a crib mattress of your choice).It needs to assembled, but assembly hardware and instructions are included. .My husband had no trouble.and it came together pretty quickly..One person could do this but pieces are bulky,so suggested for two people to assemble. The crib appears to be made of quality wood, very sturdy., pretty and the style should fit with any decor. It has a three-position adjustable mattress supports, so works well from newborn to toddler.It then converts to a toddler bed,daybed and full-size bed. Just reconfigure and change out the mattress. The 5th conversion is a canopy frame which converts to a playhouse to be used indoors or outside . Bottom line this crib will grow with your child ,is stylish but still meets or exceeds all standards for safety. I recommend this crib to all my family and friends.”

“I absolutely love the Storkcraft Orchard 5-in-1 Convertible Crib - White. It is heavy duty and made so well it will last years to come. It is a 5 in 1 convertible crib, so crib, day bed, toddler, full and the best part every kid will love is the play house. I do wish it came with the canopy but it doesn't take away from how beautiful it is. It took maybe an hour or less to put together but the instructions are really easy to read and understand. This crib is worth the price for the years and the fun to come. Please note, I was able to try in exchange for my honest opinion. That being said, my opinions are 100% real and honest. I absolutely love how sturdy and heavy duty the crib is. It is very stable compared to other cribs. It is beautiful and will be used for many more years. Even my six year old daughter loves it.”
