Horrible experience

“The only way to order this piece of furniture is through online ordering. I placed my order, got confirmation and had a payment taken from my card. Then I received an email saying that the delivery date was for January 1971. Seeing this was 54 years ago and my DeLorean is in the auto shop I am unable to travel back in time to pick it up. I reached out to a representative for some clarification. They then proceeded to tell me that the item is actually out of stock and not available until January 2026. We needed this by September so I canceled the order. Then the representative contacted me via email to say there was a mistake at the manufacturing site and the furniture was actually shipped. The catch was that I could not actually keep it because the order was canceled and they said there was nothing they could do to reverse this. It had to be returned upon receiving it. Then 2 pieces a show up to the house. Mind you they are at least 80 pounds a piece. So we had to carry them inside due to a storm coming. We set up the date for them to come pick up the pieces for July 3rd. The email said they would be picking it up that day between a certain time. It said nothing about them having 3 days to come get them. Which is what they are now staying considering it is July 6th and they are still sitting on the porch. Thankfully they have not been stolen while no one has been that house over the weekend. No one lives here permanently at this time due to renovations.”
