Canceled due to confusion

“Sorry, but due to confusion between FedEx, myself and the Ashley customer service reps, the order ended up canceled.
Initially asked for a specific delivery date, but you can't online. FedEx only holds for two weeks max, even then they were going to deliver before that time was up. Was directed to contact Ashley, and the rep stated that by having them returned to the warehouse, I could then direct the specific delivery date. When I called to set the date, I was told the order was canceled once the items were back at the warehouse. At no time did I ever talk to the same rep, nor it appears, we're any notes on my order explaining what had occurred to that point.
We have no issues going to Ashley stores and ordering, but this online experience has me think twice about going that route again.”
