“Whoever designed it made it darn near impossible to get the bars where they need to go. The instructions tell you to jam the reinforcement bar around bend that almost tear the fabric. Some of the click to connect piece will not in click to disconnect once assembled.”

“I bought this 6 months ago and it is amazing. My son used the bassinet feature for 3 months and was comfortable. After I removed it he just used the bigger space but I kept the changing table connected up until a few days ago. The changing table came in very handy and made it so nice having a specific spot to do his diaper changes. Now he just has the top of that pack and play and uses it and there's no issues. He will stay in this a little longer until he starts pulling himself up more and then I'll drop it down to the bottom. As of now I use the bottom to store all my extra diapers and wipes. It's been an awesome purchase.”

“I first saw this a year back when a friend brought it over for her niece to play in. It took all of 5 minutes to set it up. When we had our kid this was the first thing we wanted. with crib in the nursery we use this as the 2nd crib or bassinet in the living room. It’s light weight and very easy to setup (there is a bit of learning curve)
We had to stop using the bassinet after 6 weeks as the baby was growing taller and moved him into the crib position.
The one issue I have with this product is that it’s very light weight. Without the baby it is so light weight that our robot vaccum is able to push it around (which is expected as this is a portable solution).”

The newborn bassinet was hard to remove, push button was tough to use to get the two pieces to release. I was not a big fan of the newborn bassinet having white bottom, luckily no blow outs but seems like it would be hard to clean if it got stained. The diaper changer and the diaper caddy is probably my favorite part very convenient and useful when traveling!”

“Thank you to the stellar product testing panel for sending me this pack and play to test and review. I really like the color of this pack and play. It's a grey color and the metal parts have a wood like design on them. Its perfect and will go with any color scheme. I do use it everyday for diaper changes and setting the baby in the bassinet attachment. It's really convenient for me and keeps me from having to bend over all the time, so it's easier on my back. I have the bassinet attachment set up since my baby is three months old and not sitting up. It's awesome! He likes the little toys and it keeps him occupied for a bit while I do other things. The fabric is nice and strong. I find the padding in the bassinet to be soft and comfortable. I think it's better quality than other brands I've used. The diaper changing area has a plastic padding that can be wiped off, which I appreciate. The Graco pack and plays have been the easiest for me and my husband to set up and tear down. The buttons on the side make it much easier than other methods I've seen. I like the addition of the zipper for holding the bassinet in place, it definitely makes it more secure. I'm very happy with it!”

High Quality Pack n Play with Accessories

“I was given this Graco Pack 'n Play (playard) to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and WOW - I love it! This playard is modern, sleek, and high-quality. I particularly like the wood grain pattern on the corners, the soft neutral colors, the high-quality fabric, and the mattress that is thicker than typical playard mattresses. This playard fits perfectly in my home without being an eyesore.
I particularly enjoy the full bassinet insert that zips in. My baby boy is 4 months old, and that insert makes it easy to give him space to be active while also keeping him high enough that I don't have to bend much to get him out. He outgrew the smaller bassinet topper pretty quickly. The changing table topper is great as well, but my full-sized changing table is one room away, so I didn't use this one as much. It would be a lifesaver in homes with multiple levels, though! The playard is great to keep in my living room, and will definitely come in handy when traveling.
It's pretty easy to set up and very easy to break down, although it is heavier than other playards. I wish it had wheels on one end, like my older playard does, and I would appreciate a good way to store the changing pad and bassinet toppers in the bag with the rest of the playard.
The most unique features I appreciate in this playard are the new safety features - The full bassinet insert zips in rather than just clipping, the mattress can snap in place below the base floor (keeping toddlers from playing with it), and the top attachments are installed very securely. The safety feature designs are thoughtful and a great improvement over playards I've had in the past!”

The perfect playard that grows with your baby

“I just had my fourth baby, and at this point, some of our baby gear has been in need of replacement. I had been looking for a new playard, and thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was given this playard to try. The Graco Pack 'n Play CareSuite Bassinet Lux Playard is exactly what I was looking for. The style is sleek and beautiful with neutral colors and woodgrain accents, it has different modes that grow with baby, and it seems really comfortable. It also folds easily, so it will be great for when we go on trips. I don’t like spending money on baby products that my child will outgrow in a short period of time, so I appreciate that this product will grow with my baby. My son has loved napping in the newborn bassinet, and I feel confident knowing he has a safe space to sleep. The changing table is nice because it wipes clean easily and is at just the right height for all changing needs, and there is a storage pouch attached on the outside that is great for keeping extra diapers and wipes nearby. When my baby outgrows the newborn bassinet, I know he will enjoy sleeping on the comfortable mattress in the full-sized bassinet. The fabric is soft, the mattress is firm enough to be safe, yet soft enough to be comfortable, and he will have plenty of space to move around. Lastly, the toddler playard mode will be great for when my son is a bit bigger. It will be helpful for him to have a comfortable space to sleep, or even to play when I need him to be safely contained for a moment. I like that the mesh sides are see-through and breathable so I can always keep an eye on him. The only thing that was somewhat difficult about this product was assembling the newborn bassinet, but even that did not take too long. The rest of the assembly was quick and easy. Overall, if you are looking for a quality bassinet that will grow with your child, I highly recommend this one. I am so happy to have this product and I know I will be using it for many years.”

Great bassinet for travel

“Background: We have a Graco Travel Dome LX so a lot of my review is going to be compared against that. And our baby girl turned 5mo by the time we received the baby play yard from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, so the newborn bassinet add-on is obsolete to us at this point.
Fast bassinet setup: 2-3 minutes from storage mode to bassinet, mainly because the zipped-in bassinet can stay on while collapsing the frame into storage mode. The hole in the middle of the bassinet mesh allows access to the pull tab at the bottom of the frame to fold/form the frame. The 2 support metal tubes disconnect into 3 parts each and they can be tucked in such a way that the frame still folds and fits in the platform cover sticking out slightly. (see pic)
We have intentionally trained our now 5.5mo to sleep in the bassinet so that she doesn't have to get used to a different sleeping surface when we travel to visit family in a couple of weeks.
No wheels (But it is light enough that it's hardly necessary, especially when used during travels/not-at-home naps).
Changing pad: the frame tubing comes apart into a pretty small footprint that is suitcase friendly so we'll probably bring it along for our upcoming travel. Both the playard & the changing pad fit in our large suitcase, we'll probably pad it quite a bit with clothing.
Newborn Bassinet: While we do not have a use for the newborn bassinet at this time, I noticed that the installation of it is more cumbersome than the one that comes with the Dome LX. This model requires the metal tubing go through part of the zipped-in bassinet to hold it up, and I had to use a plier (or any hard pointy object) to depress the quick-connect pin to remove - if this was used as a permanent fixture in the home I imagine it won't be much of a problem because you'll essentially only have to do it once per baby, but I will probably skip the infant bassinet add-on altogether if I'm using this on-the-run/for travel. The good thing is when put away, the footprint is much smaller because of the tubing frame that comes apart (vs the LX's infant bassinet add-on can be used standalone and have a rigid oval frame). The newborn
Cleaning: while the play yard/bassinet platform's cloth surface is nice & soft, it's also impossible to wipe clean. Between nice/soft and cleanability, I choose cleanability: so I am putting a waterproof, washable cover over it. I also have to mcgyver the 4-part platform to stay extended so the stretchy cover doesn't cause the platform to buckle.
The newborn bassinet has the same nice & soft surface, and I'm glad I don't have to figure out how to keep it clean. Both of these surfaces have hardboards inside so they are not made to be machine washable. Someone more confident with their stitching skill can probably work their magic to remove the hardboard so they can be washed?”

Graco Pack n Play Caresse Bassinet Lux Playard

“We’ve been using the Graco Pack 'n Play Caresse Bassinet Lux Playard in our home for a while now, and it has quickly become a must-have for our daily routine with a newborn.
First off, the color palette is soft and calming, really gentle tones that don’t overwhelm your space, which I appreciate for keeping the vibe of our living area peaceful.
Set-up was very easy for the main playard and the full-size bassinet. It felt sturdy and secure right from the start, which gave me a lot of confidence, especially with a newborn. The infant bassinet and changing table attachments took a bit more time to assemble, but once everything was in place, they were incredibly handy—perfect for those early days of constant diaper changes and quick naps.
One thing to note is that it’s pretty heavy. This is not something I’d recommend for travel or frequent moving between locations. But for home use—especially in a living room or kitchen area—it’s absolutely perfect. It allows me to keep baby close by while getting things done around the house or enjoying time with family, without constantly going up to the nursery.
Taking down the playard itself was quick and simple, but removing the infant bassinet and changing table attachments took a little more effort. Still, once you get the hang of it, it’s manageable.
It’s not exactly compact, but in my opinion, the size is well worth it for the convenience and peace of mind it brings. All in all, this has been a great addition to our baby gear collection—a solid, dependable piece for keeping baby nearby and comfortable during the day.

Great playard with multiple options

“This playard comes with several handy options/accessories. The detachable changing area probably gets more use than anything else honestly, because it's so handy to have it attached instead of having to have another changing area. I also really appreciate that the mattress can be raised for when the babies are small. This mama's back is very appreciative of not having to bend over so far to lay the newborn down for nap. There is also a newborn bassinet that can be attached, but I hardly used it. It doesn't have a removable mattress pad, and there's no way to put a sheet on it or to remove it if it gets dirty, so I didn't really like using it and finally just took it out and used the main mattress instead. That I can put a waterproof sheet on. I know when my baby is bigger and the mattress gets moved down, there will be plenty of space for him to move around and play with toys while still being safely contained, if I need to cook supper or do a task around the house.
I love the simple grey modern color. It will work with the decor in any room I move it to. The light grey literally would go with any room in the house. I wish the fabric didn't feel quite so....absorbent? It seems like a slicker covering would be easier to clean, but also I'm not sure how often anything would actually get spilled on that part anyway, so it may be a non-issue. The playard is lightweight and easy to move. I moved it one handed while holding the baby on my shoulder, and had no issues moving it into place. It sets up easily and quickly, and folds up just as easily. The playard itself comes with a zip up cover, making it handy to take on trips. Graco is the only other playard I've used in the past, and they have both been excellent playards. I am very grateful to have received this Graco playard as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and enjoyed the opportunity to try it out.”

This playard is not only ascetically pleasing, it is also essential for coming home from the hospital. I love this pack n play because of its modern design and luxury cushion padding. It fits the most minimal styles with high end touches like the wooden accents you don’t see on most pack n plays. It is also extremely functional with the changing table built in, the bassinet dome to keep the baby elevated, as well as the full size bassinet for when your baby gets a little bigger. I found this super helpful when I got home from the hospital to have everything I needed to take care of my baby at night in one place, including side pockets for wipes and diapers. The dome even includes hanging toys to engage your newborn in visual stimulation when laying down. It also is very easy to put together and pack up with the travel bag. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a pack n play for your little one.”

Comfy Mattress

“I received this baby playard from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. With four children, I've used several pack n plays over the past 10 years. This particular style is a first for me. There were things to love and areas to improve.
First, I received no product manual or instructions with the playard. Typically, this would not be an issue as most set up and break down in a similar way. The basic structure does, however, because of the additional features it sat half together overnight while we worked up the desire to figure out the rest. The infant bassinet feature is completely collapsed unless attached with extra bars to the playard. It would be nice if it could stand on its own and move around the house when baby is brand new. It is odd that there is no way to cover it in case of messes. The changing table is a great feature but not one that we will use. The reason we aren't using the changing table is because our baby, at 2.5 months old, was too large for the infant bassinet so we went straight into using the full size bassinet feature. I did not feel comfortable leaving the changing table on top while he slept in the bassinet since it would be only inches from his head. For reference, my 2.5 month old is 14lbs.
Now for the things I love about the playard. The large bassinet feature is great. I like how big and roomy it is and feel the size is a good transition to crib sleeping for baby. The mattress is excellent! Luxurious compared to any other we've ever used. It is padded and feels so much more comfortable than the typical, thinly covered partical board. The fabric and style of the playard is really sleek. I love the neutral color. I did find it a bit challenging to find bed sheets for the mattress. It did not come with a sheet and when looking online, many sheets labeled for playards were not the correct measurements and appeared to be too small. The sheets I purchased that were the correct measurements look slightly large and require extra effort to tuck tightly.
For our use, at home, we need to find a place to store the features we aren't using, so consider storage if you don't need every feature. Overall, it's a beautiful playard. I would recommend it for the grandparents house or for travel where you likely do not have all of the conveniences of home.”

“I was so excited to receive this playard from Stellar Product Testing Panel! It has been such a great addition to our everyday with a 4 month old and toddler. The look of it is so sleek and I was really impressed with the metal bars looking like wood and I like that the colors are neutral.
One of my favorite things is the side pocket for diapers and wipes, this is great because I feel that I’m always moving diapers and wipes around depending where I’m changing my daughter and now they are always in one spot. The changing table add on is also so helpful for my back, no bending is such a plus.
We use the main playard the most but I do love how you can add the piece to have your child up a bit higher. We use this item all day, everyday. It even fits the tummy time mat I have which is great because my youngest can be entertained while I’m tending to my toddler.
It’s so easy to put together and breakdown, I love that it comes with a carrying case as well. I find that it easier to use than any similar product we had before and I think the padding is almost like memory foam so it’s very comfortable.
Overall, this is a great product that I love and I see us using everyday as we have been for a very long time.”

Pros outweigh the cons for me

“I am a mom of 3 and own a home daycare, so I know a thing or two about pack-n-plays and have used countless over the years! This is by far one of the most stylish I have seen. I appreciate that there are no obnoxious patterns or colors and the faux wood detail on the corners really elevates the overall look.
This set also solved one of my biggest frustrations with most pack n plays: the mattress. I always buy an extra mattress for the pack-n-plays that we use at the house, but can’t when we travel. This mattress is actually cushioned! HUGE selling point for me. It’s not a ton, but it’s enough that my children would be able to actually sleep comfortably, which is everything!
Now for the detractions: setting up the entire set was the biggest pain in the neck. Obviously the main structure was straightforward and took no time at all, but the bassinet and changing table were incredibly frustrating. I don’t know anyone who would take this on a trip and actually take the time to set up the entire thing. Also the fact that my 12 week old was already too big for it makes me question what kind of usefulness it really has at all.
Now let’s talk about keeping this thing clean.The bassinet mattress is fixed, so one blowout and you are completely screwed! It cannot be removed nor can it be covered with a sheet or mattress protector. Also, though I love the look of the plain gray, I will say that once I use it for an older child who can stand up and hold on to the edges, I imagine it will show spots more obviously.
Finally, it should be noted that there are no wheels. I discovered that as I tried to move it from my bedroom to the living room. Not a huge deal if you plan on keeping it in one place, but if you plan on moving it regularly that is something to consider.
All in all I am very grateful to have received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and will happily continue using the main portion of it, I’m sure for years to come!”

A great update to a well loved baby product

“I have used Graco Pack n Play systems for years, and am excited about this updated version! The modern design and softer fabrics look so much better in my home and are more comfortable than my older version. The update I’m MOST excited about is the way the bassinet insert that lifts the mattress to half-height zips into the play yard AND the play yard can be folded without removing the insert. This makes setup, storage, and transportation so much easier than my older version. I also love the attachable changing pad! It’s easy to attach or remove as needed, and makes it easy to have one place to take care of baby.
A few things I don’t love- like most models of Graco’s pack n play, this thing is heavy, so it’s best suited for car travel, using at a caretaker’s house, or using as a temporary bed in another part of your house. I wouldn’t look forward to flying with this.
Setting this up for the first time can be a doozy, so I recommend doing that well before you need to use it. The newborn bassinet insert that attaches to the top (not the one that uses the full size pack n play mattress) was an engineering puzzle that my six week postpartum brain could not figure out, so I gave up on that feature. The way it attaches to the pack n play was so confusing and difficult for me, and if it was hard to put on, it’d be hard to remove, so that’s not worth it to me. The rest of the features will be things that we get lots of use of!

Amazing playard ehh accessories

“When we found out we were expecting our second baby, I knew I needed a comfortable and safe place for baby to take naps, play, and get changed. This Graco Pack 'n Play CareSuite Bassinet Lux Playard checked all those boxes. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby playard.
Right out of the box, the playard with all attachments is relatively easy to get set up. It took me about 20 minutes to get everything assembled including all accessories (and that was with a toddler’s ‘help’)!
Below are some pros and cons that I’ve notice while using the playard.
Cons
- The little tiny push button release on the canopy bassinet (see photo). They were very difficult to release with my fingers and I needed to use the back of a pen to actually get it out. Not super convenient for traveling and putting up/taking it down repeatedly.
- Not compact with accessories when traveling. The playard itself (or with the full size bassinet still installed) can be easily folded up and put into its bag for travel. However, if you are traveling with the changing table or canopy bassinet, those will need to be packed separately.
- Limited time use of accessories both due to size and weight limits. The changing table and canopy bassinet are about 24 inches in length, which seems decent until my son was 22 inches long at two weeks old and growing fast. I ended up never even getting around to using either of the top accessories before he outgrew them. Also, weight-wise, all the accessories (full-sized bassinet included) have a weight limit of 15lbs. My son again quickly flew by that weight and we are now left with only using the playard.
Pros
- the size of the playard is amazing. It is so spacious and my son never seems cramped up in there. Plenty of space for the adorable ‘spread eagle’ sleep my son loves to do.
- The mattress has the softest cushions (memory foam-like), it honestly seems like something I would want to sleep on! We did add a sheet over the top for convenient washing between uses but you wouldn’t need to add a sheet.
- The look and design of the playard fits in great with our home decor. I love that it’s modern and fresh and not an eyesore! The quality of the playard feels like it will withstand anything my baby and toddler will throw at it.
Overall, I am a bit conflicted on if I like and would recommend the Graco Pack 'n Play CareSuite Bassinet Lux Playard. I absolutely love the playard by itself but find the accessories so short lived that they are questionable whether or not it’s worth the extra money to get those features to possibly outgrow them all in under 3 months.”

Helpful right when I needed it

“Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this Pack n’ Play, it came right at the right time for my baby!
I am someone who does not love to read instructions to assemble, however the instruction manual to set this up was almost all diagrams. It made it so easy for me to put this together in under 5 minutes!
The four in one configurations are so helpful- newborn sleep area, changing area, bassinet and finally pack n play. Right now, I’m using the bassinet option most often. It’s high up enough that I can easily reach in to take my daughter out, but still safe enough that my 4year old can’t climb in or take the baby out.
We use it primarily in kitchen to have somewhere safe to put the baby down, but it breaks down so easily and is much lighter than I expected. In the carrying bag, I’ll be able to bring it on trips without a problem.
The little hanging stars are very sweet. I wish there was a way to hang them off of something when not using the newborn sleep space. Or, that any time of mobile had come for this.
Because my baby is still so young, I wouldn’t let her sleep in the bassinet or pack n play version without me present because the mat is a little too soft.
My biggest criticism is that it doesn’t come with sheets or a protector. I’ve only had it a few weeks but it is stained with spit up because it is spot clean only. I’ll be looking into ordering the corresponding sheets.”

Luxurious Pack n Play

“I am a big fan of this Pack ‘n Play! I really liked the gray color and the “wooden” printed details on the corners as it truly gives that lux and modern look. It allows for a bassinet mode for infants and a toddler playard as they grow. While in bassinet mode, it also comes with a removable newborn bassinet and a removable changing table. The changing table has an easy to clean fabric for any messes that will happen.
The foldable bottom insert is made of a soft fabric and is plush to make baby comfortable. The pack ‘n play also comes with storage pouches in the sides, perfect for easy-to-grab necessities.
Overall, it is pretty simple to set up and able to be compact for on-the-go. I did have some trouble with disassembly as some of the buttons were difficult to push in. I would definitely recommend this product to my mom friends and to anyone who is thinking of buying a pack ‘n play that truly does it al and grows with the baby. Perfect Playard and Transitional Crib

“I received the Graco Pack 'n Play CareSuite Bassinet Lux Playard through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it’s been such a great item to use for my 6-month-old.
I have used Graco Pack 'n Plays before, but this one is definitely elevated with the new color and additional features. The playard is thoughtfully designed with both parents and babies in mind. The bassinet feature is cozy and supportive—perfect for naps or quiet time for an infant. The frame feels sturdy while still being easy to move around the house. The changing station is a lifesaver for quick diaper changes during the day, and the storage pockets keep essentials within reach, which is great when juggling a wiggly baby's diaper change.
For my 6-month-old, the playard section gives him a safe space to play and practice rolling and sitting up. The mesh sides provide great visibility and airflow, which gives me peace of mind when he’s inside. I also love how easy it is to fold and pack away, so when the time comes that we are planning a trip, I know it'll be a breeze to take it with us.

“I was given the Graco Pack 'n Play CareSuite Bassinet Lux Playard to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Throughout the baby stages of 5 kids, I have experienced a number of playards. Something I loved more about this one was the material. It had such a cozy feel to it that I wanted to take a nap in it! I loved the aesthetic appeal to this playard and it matched the neutral colors in my house quite nicely. Both the basic set up and elevated insert provided a very practical use and was just as easy to set up as other playards I have used in the past. The elevated insert was attached by a zipper and provided an extra level of security and is a must need feature. I did not care for the bassinet or changing mat. There were a number of parts to attach them to the playard, and both sides weren't symmetrical, which added to the difficulty in assembling it. Overall I did like this playard. If I was going to bypass owning a crib, this playard certainly had all the bells and whistles. If I was looking to travel with a playard, I would consider a lighter option.”

“This is a great Pack 'n Play with multiple stages - you can start by using the newborn bassinet for a contained space, then advance to the playard bassinet so you don't have to bend down too far to put your baby to sleep, and then remove the playard bassinet with the mattress on the bottom when baby is bigger and can sit or stand up. It's great to keep up in another room in the house as a safe space for baby to sleep or play outside of the nursery and really convenient to take when traveling. I don't want to chance it renting a crib in a hotel. It was very easy to initially set up - I really like that the playard bassinet zippers in place, it feels very secure and I love that you can fold it to pack away with this attached instead of having to remove first (this was not the case with my other pack 'n play so love this added feature for convenience plus stability with the zipper as it feels safer when baby moves more). It packs away very easily to be compact for on the go. The look and modern design are nice - I like the grey color and appreciate the soft fabric. One thing less ideal is that the newborn bassinet is fairly small and isn't portable/can't stand on its own outside of the playard and its mattress isn't removable and machine washable like my other pack 'n play so I feel like I wouldn't use it as much. It makes it very easy to grow with your baby - if you're like me, you need a place to put your baby in when you're in a living space, and this is great because you can use the bassinet if they are asleep or the pack & play space if they are awake and as they grow.
It was easy to set up, though I wish it were lighter and easier to take down - this won't be our go-to for travel given the components and it was tough for me to break down with one hand (though my husband can make it happen). “Graco has knocked it out of the park with this Pack ‘n Play for our baby. The blue/gray colors with wood accents are gorgeous and modern. The colors fit in perfectly in our family room-both in style and color. We are currently using the zip-in bassinet stage but getting ready to change into the full sized playard. It’s an easy and safe spot for our baby, who’s the youngest of four, to be comfortable and off the ground (and out of harm’s way!)
The set up was easy and we put it together within 5 minutes. The differences I notice from this model compared to the older ones are- the zippered bassinet and the changing table attachment are both much sturdier, there are no longer wheels on 2 of the legs, and the mattress is cushier.

Great Playard for Your Home and Peace of Mind

I was so happy to receive this as my infant just recently started scooting around and then army crawling the same week I set this up! I was so relieved to have a safe space for him that also seamlessly blended into my home decor.
As a mom of two, my home has definitely been taken over by my children and items they need so I genuinely appreciate something that is made for children while still keeping the style and aesthetic of the home in mind. I loved the look and modern design of this playard as it goes perfectly with my furniture and decor. Having it has definitely made life easier with a mobile infant as it provided me with an instantly safe space for him to be when I need to tend to my older child or take care of something in the house.
Since my infant son is now mobile and has outgrown the two bassinet attachments, I found the full playard the most useful. I also love the option to use the diaper changing attachment as it's always nice to have another diapering station in the home. I know the bassinet attachments will definitely become useful when we do have another newborn, but for now the full playard is most useful to me to provide a safe space for my infant son.
I loved the fabrics of this playard; they were so soft compared to others I have used in the past. My only wish is that they would be machine washable or at least removable from the frame to be able to hand wash them. I also loved the accents as the light woodgrain style of the frame looks so nice.
This playard has become an item I use daily, whether its a play space or somewhere for him to lay down, I know I can set him down and he will be safe. With a newly mobile infant, this is such a relief, especially when I am busy helping my toddler, preparing a meal, or picking up around the house.
This playard was very easy to set up and to be honest I've been using it so much I haven't had a need to take it down! As I have previously used other Graco Pack 'n Play Playards, I'm confident it will be just as easy to store away. I do wish the other accessories and attachments could store into the bag as well or came with their own storage bag. Compared to other playards I have used in the past, the ease and convenience of this one is wonderful! It took me just a couple minutes to put together and is lightweight as well, making it a breeze to move around the house if needed.

Modern Design and Appeal

“I received the Graco Pack ‘n Play CareSuite from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review.
Right out of the box, I was impressed by the sleek design. The wood accents and neutral color scheme are a breath of fresh air compared to the usual bright baby gear colors. It blends beautifully into my living room decor, and I actually feel good about leaving it out instead of trying to hide it in a corner.
The quality of materials is also top-notch. Everything from the frame to the fabrics feels thoughtfully does we and well-constructed. One of my favorite features is the Pack ‘n Play mattress. It is surprisingly soft and cushioned, without that plasticky feel many other play yards tend to have. It feels much more comfortable and cozy for my baby to rest on.
The bassinet attachment is a great feature in theory. I loved the convenience of having a raised, easily accessible sleep space for those early newborn days. However, I do wish it were a bit more spacious. My baby is only one month old and has already outgrown the bassinet.
Also, the product did not come with written directions that made it a bit difficult to assemble. Luckily, assembly was relatively easy to figure out without them but directions would have helped greatly.”

Classic Play Yard with Modern Design

Graco Pack 'n Play is the gold standard for a reason and this version steps it up with well thought out attachments and modern color scheme. The bassinet and changing pad will be incredibly useful for the first few months. We feel very comfortable that our baby girl will be able to sleep comfortably and safely in the bassinet whether we are at home or on the go. The Pack 'n Play sets up and tears down so easily that I know we will move it around our house and take it on visits to the grandparents or friends for easy access throughout the day. Compared to older models that my family owns this one was easier to setup and tear down. Even new parents like us were able to do it without ant instruction or prior experience. The updated colors of.this model fit perfectly with our modern but classic style and seem as though they will be easy to keep clean as she grows. Although we haven't had baby girl yet we look forward to using this Pack 'n Play on a daily basis. Modern and Soft

“I received this playard from Stellar Reviews in exchange for an honest review. What I love most about the playard are the calm and neutral colors, along with the wood-grain accents. The playard blends into whatever room of the house we move it to-- bedroom or living room. It doesn't stand out or clash. The neutral colors allow it to blend into any decor. I received the playard when my baby was 7 months old so she was too big for the newborn bassinet. However, it is by far the softest cushion I have ever felt on baby gear! It comes with two cute adorable soft toys as well. The toys aren't just a hard plastic, but a soft silicone and felt (easy on baby gums). I do wish the newborn bassinet was stand alone and could be used without the playard, but it can't. It is easily collapsed to store away once baby is too big. The mattress for the playard is softer than other brands I have used in the past. It's the perfect amount of cushion for a nap or for play time. My large 7 month old still was able to fit into the changing table. It's waterproof, easily wiped down, and also easily removed to store away. One feature that I appreciated was the zip-in style bassinet. It can actually stay in place when the pack and play is stored away. It was super easy to install and remove also. My only complaint of the item are the buttons you have to push to remove or take things apart. I actually broke two nails trying to remove the newborn bassinet. It helps if you use a small pen or something to push them in. A feature I would like to see added to this design would be two small wheels on either side of the playard so that it's easily transported. However, it is not heavy to pick up and move itself. My favorite feature was the luxe feel to the fabrics and its cushion for baby. We have used the pack and play for easy naps in the living room and also safe play time now that my baby is a little more mobile (sitting up, almost crawling). It's the easiest pack and play I have ever used to set up and take down, however some of the pieces with the buttons are a little awkward to push just right.”

Exceedingly Mediocre

“First off, this package came without assembly directions; so I had to painstakingly put this thing together through trial and error when I was 2 days postpartum. However, I think I did a decent job actually so I’m going to assume the missing directions in my package was a fluke and try to review this product as fairly as possible.
Which brings me to my first point: assembly. Setting up the actual pack and play part was easy-peasy. Even adding the infant sling was super straight forward. But adding the bassinet and changing station was NOT straightforward. I literally still can’t figure out how to add the changing station (see picture).
Comfort: again, the pack ‘n play part is actually nice. The sleeping pad is nicely cushioned, but not so much that it could cause anxiety about letting your baby sleep on it. Just much softer than the usual pads. But the bassinet seems flimsy and cheap. It’s also super small. My newborn was 7lbs when born and he barely fit in it. Also, the changing pad seemed okay, more on the flimsy side but I can’t know for sure because I couldn’t install the dang thing.
Quality: the quality is unfortunately very mediocre. It just seems like every part of this product was made with the cheapest material possible. The bassinet seems flimsy and unstable. The “toys” that hang off the bassinet are only attached via cheap Velcro that could easily be ripped off. The “wood” accent legs are clearly plastic and fake looking.
Portability: I didn’t actually have a chance (or more like reason) to move it yet, but I can tell via the assembly it’s going to suck. There’s like 6 buttons you need to press to make the thing collapse and they seem difficult to release. The mattress wraps around the base, which will be nice, but disassembling it first will be super annoying.
Overall: I was actually very excited to try this product out for my 2nd baby. But now that I’ve used it for a couple weeks, I’m a bit disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, it did the job it was supposed to, but like the bare minimum. It doesn’t look as nice as I thought it would. The bassinet is cheap and small, so it will probably only last until my child is 3 weeks old maximum. I can’t comment on the changing station, but doesn’t seem great either. And its portability seems annoying at best. It’s very middle of the road, with lots of other similar products that are both better and worse than this one.

Play yard

“We have an almost 6 month old and thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel we got to try the Graco Pack 'n Play CareSuite Bassinet Lux Playard.
I really like the color and style of this playard. It’s very modern looking.
Set up was pretty straight forward. I did need to reference the instructions a few times. I’ve not used a playard with the side rails that pop up and break down. It has a learning curve to it.
The fabric is nice, but I sure do wish it was removable and washable. Baby items need to easily be cleaned and this model of Graco does not instruct any more than to spot clean it.
I like the changing table, that’s been extremely helpful on my back.
All in all, I like this playard. I do wish it was easier to clean though.

Good Value, But Some Limitations

“Overall I do like this product and for some people it's probably a good fit. That being said, I have a couple of things that I think buyers should be aware of. 1/ The bassinet and changing table are difficult to take apart to clean. As first time parents with several accidents the first few weeks, we had to take apart the bassinet and changing table multiple times to clean. It's doable, but not fun when watching a newborn. 2/ This one is on me, but... the bassinet is not removable. Almost all other Graco pack 'n plays with a bassinet like this are removable. I know that's likely one of the main reasons it's less expensive than the other models with bassinets. But, if moving the baby around easily is one of your goals, this is likely not the right fit for you. Just spend more $$$ for one with a removable bassinet. 3/ While the changing table is removable, you have to fully remove it once your child is older. Some other models seem to have a changing table that hinges and doesn't have to be fully removed. Overall it's still a good value for the features it does have, just want folks to be aware of the limitations.”

Compact convenient and clean aesthetic

“I love the clean, neutral appearance of this playard. It blends in with any style and fits in flawlessly in our sitting room. We set it up on the lower level of our home to have the bassinet when we need to put the baby down and the convenience of a changing pad all in one convenient place. It is compact and could easily lend itself to many different areas of the home. The changing pad has definitely been the most useful to us, as it is at standing level, and the side pocket allows for the storage of diapers and baby wipes. The fabrics are soft, luxurious and durable, and the accents are strategically placed offering a clean and simple finish.
Because our baby is only 2 weeks old, we have not had a chance to use this playard to its full potential yet, but plan on taking it on-the-go for travel and sleepovers in the future. It is fairly easy to set up and break down with instructions! I tried to set it up without directions and could not figure it out, but once I pulled out the instructions it was simple to follow. I had a previous version of this playard with my firstborn about eight years ago, and this one is definitely superior. The bottom mat is much softer and more plush, and the overall fabrics and design seem to be better quality. Overall I am a fan of this products convenience, simplicity, and compact and portable design! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby playard.”

Luxe and Convenient

“I received this pack and play from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Having purchased other more pricy brands in the past, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a Graco pack and play, but I can honestly say my expectations were exceeded.
In terms of assembly of the base pack and play, it really couldn’t have been easier, as long as you follow the instructions. It took under two minutes to get it out of the box assemble the frame and put in the mattress. Adding the higher level crib/bassinet was equally easy, notably using a super convenient mechanism that I hadn’t seen before—a zipper to attach that bassinet rather than clips hanging off the side. I really liked how easy it was to zip and unzip that upper crib/bassinet attachment from the top. The changing table and newborn bassinet took a little more time to assemble. I found myself much more inclined to skip those when taking the pack and play on travel, instead just using the higher level crib/bassinet for my newborn.
A few things stood out to me about this pack and play. First and foremost, the mattress is far cushier than any mattress I’ve seen in a pack and play before. My toddler found it much more enjoyable to sleep on than any other pack in place we’ve used, as it was softer and didn’t feel like sleeping on the hard ground. The material was impressive as well. You can definitely tell it’s more on the luxe side of things in a very good way. The overall look of this pack and play is sleeker and more modern then most of the others I see on the market these days, which I really liked. It’s one I didn’t mind living set up in my living room for a while during our newborn phase. The material held up pretty well against spit ups and blowouts, responding well to being wiped off frequently, which is a necessity when you have both a newborn and a toddler
One thing I loved about this pack and play was the portability of it. It does have a little more weight to it than some strictly travel pack and plays, but I didn’t mind that when you have a tiny new baby you want something that feels sturdy in this definitely does the trick. It was easy enough to quickly fold up and throw in the back of the car to take with us to a friend house and use for nap time. I appreciate the functionality of it for different stages. It worked just as well for sleep for my newborn as it did for my two year-old. When set up at home, we appreciated having the changing table available, making diaper changes easy for our newborn (though admittedly I didn’t attempt to put my alligator-rolling 2 year old on the changing table, as that felt like a recipe for disaster). This pack and employee lived in our living room as a safe sleep space for our newborn, as well as as a secondary changing table on our first floor. We also took it with us on daytime and overnight visits to the houses of friends and family.
Overall, I am incredibly impressed with this pack and play and would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend or buy it for them off their registry for a baby shower gift. I’m glad I had the chance to use this and will definitely continue using it as our primary on the go pack and play when traveling locally.”
