“We got this swing when my son was just born. I love that the bouncer can detach so you can move it easily. The base is quite large and not so easy to move around so we just use the base in the bedroom and detach the bouncer to use around the rest of the house. Also it has a vibration option on the bouncer so it’s a good little product all on its own! I will say that it’s not a silent swing but so far we haven’t had any loud noises come from the swing. The swing moves fluidly and we really love this swing!”

“I bought this swing for my 4th baby as it was compact, cute and loved the motions. My baby is now 4 months old, LOVES her swing and the lights are flashing blue and it won’t move anymore. She is well below the weight limit (12.5 lbs) and we have tried all the reset options. Make no sense that a product coming from a quality company, that is expensive, would fail like this. Extremely disappointing.”

“Graco has long been my favorite brand for anything baby. Almost all of our baby stuff is from this brand; from car seats to high chairs. This swing has served us greatly over the past couple of years (bought in 2021) but unfortunately, even though mechanically we are still working great, the plastic has completely yellowed after only 3 years. We never took this outside or let it sit in direct sunlight so I am so disappointed as I was looking forward to using this with our next baby in November.”

“Just purchased and received Thursday. That night half an hr after putting our 1 month old baby in and swinging it started smelling very hot and getting noisy then all th lights started flashing and wouldn't turn back on. After sitting for a hr turned back on and worked for about another half an hr. Not at all happy with purchase especially after reading the reviews. Would not suggest to get if you want something that will last.”

“I received this as a gift and we love it!! The swing works really well. The vibrating seat works wonders to help soothe our little one, but I have noticed that after the battery was changed the lighter vibration was not working as well as before so we only use the heavier vibration setting so our little one can be soothed. Other than the chair vibration becoming less powerful the swing is a definite must have!! I love that the seat can be multidirectional, the swing has so many different options to find the best motion to soothe, and if not attached to the swing base the seat is a great rocker!!”

It’s so bad it wakes the baby. We only use 1 setting that just goes back and fourth. For 200 I want to use all settings. Very dissatisfied”

MAMMAS MY QUESTION IS THIS:
1. Is there anyone out there who used the product constantly and it is still working for you 3- 6 months later? As in it didn’t break down, it didn’t start to squeak, and it didn’t start getting all jerky.
2. What did you do when the product broke down on you? Did Greco replace it or did they give you a difficult time? And how many times were you able to replace it? Unfortunately can not return or exchange it to the store.
3. Of Greco did replace your product, the warranty is good for how long?
I’m so disappointed. Spending $200 for a swing one would think it would be too if the line and would last throughout the years. My sister still has hers from 10 years ago. I am staying away from all Greco products and wish I could return this.”

Once baby weighs about 10 pounds and starts kicking and wiggling, they can start to bounce slightly that makes the mobile jiggle just enough to entertain. Great mobile because of the ring can have additionally items to attach or unattached to keep the learning and entertainment going. Love it! Only flaw, the rocker doesn’t rock on its own.”

Broke after 3 months

“We purchased the swing in January 2023 it is now April and the swing stops and won't trun on.
At first it was amazing all the cool features and my baby girld loves it. She is able to sleep so soundly and comfortable.
She is only 4 months old barley weighs 15 pounds and the swing has given out.
There is nothing we have done or anyone has done for the swing to stop working. It seems as the gears or what ever makes it go side to side and up and down get stuck.
You can hear like they try to get unstuck but then it shuts off and doesn't adjust or nothing. Even after unplugging it nothing was fixed.
We had to forcefully make the swing go one way for it to get unstuck.
Then it'll turn on and adjust itself but as soon as your turn it on any setting it'll get stuck.
Anyway just becarful, save your receipt and hopefully Graco fixes this becuase I've tried reaching out to them and unfortunately I'm out $200 dollars.
We've purchased the 4 moms mamaroo bassinet as it sways and moves similar and our baby is able to sleep soundly once again. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else becuase it's very unfortunate and in the economy it's not easy to spend so much money on things that don't last.”

“I have 4 kids and we got this baby swing for my 4th and it's the worst one by far. If I could give this swing negative stars I would. I worked okay for about a month maybe a little longer but was never a smooth swing and now it gets jammed or misses the gears inside. I'm not sure what its doing but it stops working atleast 1 time per day. I have to take the chair off and force it to move until it catches and starts working on its own. If my baby is in it and she kicks or moves alot it will stop working as well. My daughter is 8 months old and we have had issues with this swing for 5-6 months. It's an absolute piece of crap.”

I had left it in the box for a bit, but wanted to make sure that it was as great as at seemed before selling my Mama Roo. This thing is awesome. Multidirectional motions with options to change it up. There are so many different settings and the way it is elevated gives the baby the sensation of being held up and rocked whereas the mamaroo is stationed to it's base. You can also take out the bassinet and use it as a manual rocker with vibration. It is way more secure than any of the other rockers you would buy. I haven't tried putting it back on it's base with the baby in it and if that works I will never have to take the baby out. Also the price is fantastic..”

Graco Soothe My Way Swing with Removable Rocker

“I’m a mom to a 9-month old baby, and my baby loves swings, rockers, and car rides! He is on the tinier side, so he makes the 25 lb. weight limit despite his age. He has never been able to fall asleep in it, but it may be due to his age. I definitely recommend this swing for infants and babies under 6 months old. Powering on the swing can be an issue. There were times I had to keep pressing the power on/off to get it to turn on. The fabric is superb quality and the padding was very soft. The color we received was Madden and I found it a gender neutral and the colors went well together. I believe it also comes in Molly which is pink. The fabric and padding are much higher quality compared to other competitor swings and I believe it kept my baby snug and comfy. My baby also enjoyed the many different rocking features as there was such a variety, but I think that the swing could be smoother. My baby was also easily entertained by the hanging monkey and star on the mobile. Something to note is that when the rocker is placed on the swing, it is very high off the ground. There was only support coming from one side of the rocker’s four sides. The swing is able to hold up to 25 lbs, but it was still something I was concerned about because the rocker looks like it is mostly just floating in the air. My favorite feature for this product was the fact that the rocker was removable from the swing. With our previous swing that did not have this feature, moving it around in different parts of the house was not easy and it was also bulky. This product was wonderful for having a 2-in-1 feature, with the rocker taking up less space for smaller spaced rooms. With to the rocker being removable, the rocker can also be placed in different directions on the swing base. I’m not sure when it would be necessary to use that feature - maybe it could be used to better fit in a specific space. Regardless, it is a nice option to have. The product as a whole with the rocker attached to the swing is a tad bulky though, and it takes up a bit of space. A feature that could use some work would be the audio quality for the lullabies and white noise. The louder the volume would be, the poorer the quality of the audio. The white noise quality wasn’t as bad, but the audio in general could use some work for parents who have to listen to the sounds playing. Soothing swing with apparent quality issues

“I really wanted to love this swing, but unfortunately it falls short of a 5-star rating. My son was three months old when I received this swing (courtesy of the Stellar Product Testing Panel), and my only swing experience prior was with an eight year old hand-me-down swing from another brand. It has two speeds and two songs - the bar was set pretty low! I expected this new Graco swing to blow my old one out of the water. After a few weeks of use I found it did a great job of soothing my baby, but it is hard to look past some of the quality issues.
It took me about two hours to fully assemble the swing, which was more challenging than I anticipated! When I first put my son in it, it was clear that the shoulder straps were far too short, even when adjusted to their longest setting. I could barely squeeze him in - and he’s only 16 pounds! There was plenty of give with the waist straps though. The plastic buckle is also cheap and very hard to depress to release the harness. I needed my husband to come over and do it for me. I used the waist belt portion a few more times - thinking that the buckle would get “broken in” over time - but I still was unable to depress the button enough to release the harness. So I stopped using the harness entirely.
I normally use a white noise machine when my baby is sleeping or taking a nap, so I was looking forward to all the songs and nature sounds this swing offered. The sound quality is extremely poor though, and makes the feature unusable.
Sometimes when the vibration is on and swing is in motion there is a metallic buzzing noise, but I’ve figured out that there are certain settings where this doesn’t happen so we can avoid it. The movement can also be a bit jerky, but baby doesn’t seem to mind!
The removable rocker is a great concept, but it’s pretty heavy and cumbersome to take around the house. So I’ve primarily just used it as a swing. It is nice though that you can reposition it so baby can face different directions and sit in different reclining positions.
The best thing about this swing is the great variety of motion settings and speeds. I love the depth and round shape of the swing because it feels like my baby is more secure, and it mimics the sensation of being held. Some of the movements are akin to you holding and rocking your baby, which is typically what my son wants and soothes him quickly. The cushion is nice and soft, and removable for easy cleaning.
This swing does a great job of soothing my baby and lulling him to sleep. It is comfortable and has a wide range of motion settings to accommodate any baby. There are some quality issues, but at the end of the day I would recommend the Graco Soothe My Way Swing to anyone in the market for one.”

As a first time mom, baby gear options can be daunting. Here’s my review of this product:
Pros:
-the Soothe My Way has 16 different soothe settings including classical music, different motion settings, nature sounds, and vibration. This allows for a truly customizable rocking experience for you new babe
-the fabric and overall product quality is excellent! The neutral color scheme is calming and should fit in with most home decor
-My baby loves the comfy and cozy pod-like seat and it includes an infant support pad and safety harness clips
-My baby also loves to stare at the mobile while rocking
-the removable and portable rocker portion is easy to remove and replace and can sit on the base in several different positions. It conveniently runs on a battery. It is lightweight- which is a bonus for me as a petite woman with back pain!
Cons:
-the swing and rocker are on the larger side for baby swing products. It safely and securely holds my baby, so that is a fair trade off
-the quality of the swing is exceptional with the exception of the safety harness. I find it to be flimsy and not robust
- the base/swing portion must be plugged in while in use which means a cord and adapter are constantly present
Overall this is a great product that keeps baby safe, comfortable, and entertained while momma and daddy need free hands!
