“The bed is as described. It's sturdy, easy to put together and arrived when expected. However, there was insufficient packaging. This issue resulted in several scratches /finish coming off the bed frame. I contacted customer service they offered to take it back but I had to pay for shipping ($400+) or I could keep it for a very small % back with no option to return to local store.”

“Item arrived in a ripped open box. The box fell apart in shipping because it was a return. Scratched, rusted, and with tape residue on it, it's not useable. Since it's online only, I have to keep this giant box in my house for a week while I wait to hear if they will accept the return. VERY disappointing experience, and it will be my only one with Ashley Furniture. Buyers beware, if you purchase online only items, their customer service chat can't help you. You have to call, get an email, email photos and an explanation of the damage, and then wait 3-5 business days for them to agree they messed up. I just emailed my photos, so it will be interesting to see how they handle it. I only want a return, I'll be shopping elsewhere.”

“Beware of Ashley Furniture!!! We ordered this bed frame because we loved the look but after waiting for multiple weeks for the order to ship after our card was charged nothing happened. Called FedEx and they have no record of ever received the package yet Ashley reps say the package was handed off to the shipper. I don’t think they ever had the product available to actually ship. Now we have to wait 7-10 days to see if the refund comes through or if we will have to go through our bank for a charge back. Meanwhile we are left without a bedframe. I thought Ashely Furniture was reputable but I am now wondering after reading tons of horror stories. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere.”

“No instructions sent for the assembly of the bed frame. We googled the instructions and the parts shipped did not match those in the video. We attempted to figure out the assembly for over two hours. NOTHING WORKED. The pre-drilled holes for the headboard did not line up. Some of the pre-drilled holes would not hold the screws. Once the Middle T frame was installed the individual slats would no longer stay in place. I don’t think the correct frame /parts were shipped.”

“It sucks!! The bed did not have the ability to be up higher like it had said in the details that it could go 12 inches off the floor. There were no holes to line up the frame. Therefore, my bed is very low not only that I still have not been able to secure the slats! The little gray plastic pieces that you need to use to secure the slats are extremely difficult to do therefore, I cannot do both sides and the slats are not secured. I am very disappointed and saddened that this bed has been such a nightmare to put together. More importantly, that it is so low to the ground.”

“Do not buy this bed! I ordered and the first one arrived but the legs were bent so it would not go together. Ashelys customer service was great and they offered to refund or send a new one. The new one came 5 days later and is in worse shape than the first frame. The box is damaged and the bed is yet again so bent you cant even put it together. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of two damaged beds!”
