“Tah-dah! Solid bed frame. Modern, simple and clean look. Perfect height off the floor. My mattress is 9” thick so total height is 20”(floor to top of mattress). Can’t go wrong for the price, really. Easy assembly however, here’s a few tips…
Don’t over screw the 2 inside corners of the flat piece that goes along the back wall. Over screwing will cause it to warp. Tighten it till it’s snugged.
Slats comes in 2 pieces- 24 pieces total. Pre assemble them so that it’s 1 long piece. When installing the slats, press one side down into the hole until it snaps in. Before snapping the opposite end of the slat, make sure the middle plastic piece is hovering over the hole(don’t snap in place yet), then snap the opposite end. Now that both ends of the slat is snapped in place, gently press down on the center of the slat- middle piece, and snap into place. I found this is easier than what the directions stated. Try both ways and see which is easier for you.
Reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the slats are convex in the middle so when I placed my mattress on the frame, I can feel a slight cave in the middle. Although I believe a box spring would fix that problem- even though it says “no box spring needed.”
