I Went For Looks/Quality!

“I love how charming this platform bed frame is! I already knew when I added this to my cart that I would be sacrificing quality in the area of being “noise/squeak resistant”, but I didn’t care! With that in mind, I already had a game plan for how I was going to make the wood slats less noisy—basically I had a sheet of furniture felt glides (round stickers that also come in a sheet used to prevent scratching wood floors) and cut them to fit the wooden slats (where there was wood on wood). Hard to describe and did not take pics, but need to mention I was shorted 6-8 wood screws. I took pics of the wood slats and middle wood/support (beam) that don’t look the greatest, but I guess for the price it isn’t horrible. I feel like the instructions left out an important step: use wood screws to secure middle wood “beam”. Other than that, I’m giving a 4/5 stars because my husband says I’m not practical with my decor choices, but even he admits with a little tweaking, my bed is beautiful and quiet!”
