“It is much taller than I expected. I was specifically looking for something that didn’t require a box spring because I’m pretty short and hate having to jump up to get in bed - it’s annoying. I wanted the extra storage since we don’t have a ton in our home, but now I’m wondering if we should have not done the storage footboard. Maybe the alternative would be loved to the ground. It isn’t terrible, but I definitely have to climb up to get into bed. The storage is nice, but each of the thin drawers in the foot can really only hold a single set of sheets, which was kind of surprising. All in all, kinda wish I had just done a regular base instead of the storage.”

“This bed was not the quality we expected from Ashley Home. The wood for the frame was already splintering prior to assembly, and the drawers didn’t fit in their slots properly. Once assembled, we didn’t feel comfortable putting one person’s weight on it, let alone a mattress and two people. We took it apart and returned it without using it once.”

“The bed is a lot higher than I anticipated. The mattress does not fill the whole frame otherwise, the storage space is perfect. One large drawer on either side and four smaller drawers(but still a good size) at the foot of the bed. The headboard has two small drawers with shelves on either side.”

“Looks great & has allowed us to remove 2 pieces of furniture. The finish is delicate so go easy, but very realistic wood grain. The center headboard drawers are awkwardly placed...not that convenient. Large drawers are really big. Since it is all open, due to the slats, I put towels over the contents of drawers to prevent dust from settling. I bought a king, but it seems much bigger as my king mattress has open inches all around. Yes, the bedding covers some of it, but not all.”

“We have the queen at home and bought the king for a condo. The king seems to have better construction as the slats screw in. However, our king delivery was delayed. Ashley said it was due to staff shortages at their Texas manufacturing plant. Our delivery was delayed twice… however, once it arrived, it said manufactured in Vietnam, so I don’t think the bed was made in Texas like they said. The bed is fine, but I don’t think it’s made in the USA like they say.”
