“I just bought this for my son and he loves it. I was able to put it together myself. Two complaints: I started to put together the bed and the legs were missing, so I had to wait another week for parts. But customer service was great. 2nd complaint: The instructions need better step by step pictures instead of clustered pictures of multiple pieces going on at once.”

“This bed is high quality, durable, and modern! It's the perfect solution for a small space! The seven drawers are enough to accommodate a substantial number of clothing items! And, because the bed is raised to accommodate the seven drawers, there is additional space underneath the bed that can be used for storing other items (e.g. old files/records, boxed seasonal items, etc.)!”

Ashley Bookcase Headboard bed

“The bed is finally ready..except for the box spring.
The bed was delivered and the delivery people refused to put it together because "it was missing parts". Then they went back to the warehouse and said we told them not to put it together. That was a lie. After several calls to Ashely I got a lady to send someone to put it together. No parts were missing. But the drawers wouldn't close properly. More calls and the same lady arranged for a technician to come out and repair the bed. Done. When the bed was purchased the salesman told us we needed a box spring but, because they didn't put it together, we didn't know until they assembled it the next day that the box spring made the bed about 4 feet high--way too high for a 4'10" child. We immediately called Ashley to ask them to remove the box spring. However, the manager was told by the district manager that they could/would not return it. By this time it's a month since it was delivered. However, the manager agreed to send us a bunkie board to protect the mattress and refund the cost of the box spring because of what we've been through.
So, now that the bed frame is put together correctly, my grandson loves it. The drawers replace his dresser and makes more room in his bedroom. Working with Ashley was very difficult. They didn't respond in a timely manner until I got the lady that works there who "made things happen". Looking forward to having the bunkie board delivered, but not holding my breath.”

“Definitely not the quality I was expecting and one of the rails was completely broken, fortunately it was the side without the drawer so it does not show. We didn't even put it on. They assembly directions were not very helpful and some of the screw holes did not line up.”
