“I was so pleasantly surprised how beautiful the Covetown Dresser actually is. The picture on the web site does not do it justice. The dress has 7 very spacious drawers, heavy and very sturdy. This dresser will not tip easily. The color is a rich brown. It was delivered on time and without a scratch. I choose the No-Hassle delivery and the delivery guys took extra care bringing it in for me. Ordering was so simple using Ashley’s web sight.”

Nice quality, but short on space

“We ordered this dresser and the two matching nightstands - the dresser arrived damaged, so they had to reschedule delivery of another one, which only took about a week, so that was fine. The website says "assembly required", but the only thing that had to be assembled was the feet had to be put on. We had paid for setup, so the delivery guys did that. The dresser looks very nice and is a good quality piece. There are two things I don't like about it, though. The first is the amount of storage space. The dresser is 16" deep, but the drawers are only 11-1/2" deep, so there's a lot of wasted space in the back. Also, and even more puzzling, is that the drawer boxes are all much smaller than the drawer fronts. On the large drawers, the drawer fronts are 28" wide, but the drawer boxes themselves are only 23-1/2" wide - there's a full 2" on either side of each drawer of completely wasted space. I've actually never seen a drawer of any kind like that, and the only reason I can think of to do that is to save a little bit on materials cost. Skim a few inches of each drawer, and after hundreds or thousands of dressers, you've saved quite a bit off manufacturing costs. But whether that's the reason, or just a bad design decision, it's something I wish I would've known when purchasing, because the dresser just doesn't give enough space. You're basically losing about 3-4" of width on each drawer, and that adds up. This dresser might be big enough for one person, but definitely not for two. My second complaint is that the drawers don't open out enough to be able to put the clothes in very easily. They only pull out a little over halfway, so it's really awkward to reach in with a stack of clothes when loading drawers. So, overall, even though I wouldn't buy again knowing these two things, it's still a nice quality dresser and would still recommend if you can overlook them.”

“It is a nice-looking piece, but the drawer slides are very cheap and hard to open and close. This is a baby's dresser so as he grows, I don't anticipate them holding up. We purchased online because the local Ashley's didn't have it on their floor. We wouldn't have bought it if I knew hard difficult it would be to open and close the drawers.”
