I would have given this bed 5 stars but during assembly, the 3 support pieces that support the slats seemed to be cut 1-2” too short so we had to place some pieces of cut wood underneath to make sure it was stable. Also I would have liked to have maybe 5 slats vs the 3. Other than that it’s a very nice bed. It’s easy to assemble and the quality is good for the price. It looks more expensive than it is. It is also very comfortable. I am happy with my purchase.”

“Not really impressed with the frame of the bed. The first is that the slats that support the box springs are oddly cut and one out of the three are wide enough to reach the supports on either side of the bed frame. The next is that the supports that hold the slats are set far too high and as such the bed supports are not tall enough to reach the floor. Mine broke off within 3 days and so I ended up using substantially stronger boards. The overall appearance is alright but the build quality was way off and I'm not satisfied. The mattress is plush as described and very comfortable but that's about the only highlight of this combo.”

“My box arrived with a big hole in it. I could see the actual wood of the bed through the hole. Item not packaged exceptionally well. However there was no damage to the bed where the box was damaged but the headboard did have a HUGE chunk of wood missing! Luckily it was the back side up against the wall. Had to assemble the bed even though it was damaged because my son was coming home from college and needed a place to sleep. I reached out to Ashley furniture for a replacement or even just a damage discount. No one ever got back to me. It’s too bad because I probably would have given it 5 stars if it didn’t arrrive damaged or someone from Ashley Furniture actually got back to me.”

“This is by far the most disappointing purchase I’ve made. The product description never mentioned that this bed requires a box spring in order to function properly. After fully assembling the frame, I found it completely impossible to place a mattress on it without it falling through — the wooden slats provided are useless and do not support a mattress on their own. If a box spring is mandatory, this information should have been made absolutely clear before purchase, not after I discovered the bed is unusable. Now I am stuck with a bed frame that cannot serve its basic purpose unless I spend an additional few hundred dollars on a box spring I never planned to buy. Very misleading and extremely frustrating.”
