“Not happy. Units showed up and were way too small. But since I missed the return deadline by a day the center told me there was nothing they could do. I will not be doing business with Ashley’s in the future. I hope the $500 dollars was worth it.”

“I like the dresser so much I bought a second one I have them side by side it looks like a large hutch it's at the foot of the bed and it looks great the drawers look like they might not be very much room in them but there is it's just dependent on how you organize and fold your clothes they're not very deep but I filled three drawers and I thought I was going to have to use all five of them I'm happy with it good quality and real sturdy and solid.”

“I was very hesitant about buying furniture online without seeing it in person but this is not your Amazon out of the box put it together yourself piece of furniture. This is a well made, well crafted, piece of furniture made of solid wood and not that engineered wood. The drawers are just the right depth and are not too shallow or not too deep, you need to fold the clothes so they fit. It’s a standard size chest. The color is a rich espresso. The delivery guys were just superb. They came even though it rained all day and it was after dark when they got here. I’m also pleased that for once, this piece was not made in China.”

“This chest looks nice and the color blends well with my other Ashley bedroom furniture, it is a little taller than the one it replaced and the tv on top is a perfect height now. However, I did not look at it in the showroom prior to purchasing, so there are a couple of negatives I was not aware of: 1) it is not very deep front to back so the drawers do not pull out very far, probably to help prevent it from tipping forward when a drawer is opened. 2) the back side of each drawer is cut short in height so things in the drawer can easily fall out toward the back. Buyers need to beware of this so items don't get lost inside the chest. I'm sure a more expensive chest might not have these issues, but the budget worked with this one.”

“It looks nice, but it’s extremely low quality. It’s all particle board and veneer, and stapled together. The first one I ordered was damaged with no evidence on the outside of the box. The top corner was smashed, so I could see the entire thing was pretty much just pressed and shaped sawdust. Personally I don’t think it’s worth the money, but it seems everything is cheaply made and expensive anymore.”

My first new furniture in a long time

“I moved into a new senior citizen development almost a year ago. Before the move, I got rid of a lot of the furniture I had -- most of it was bought used, and had seen better days, and I wanted new furniture for the new place. I bought a new bed a few months ago, but had been using plastic storage drawers temporarily for my clothes, until I could find something better and more permanent.
I bought this and the matching dresser, (along with a new loveseat) and I"m so happy to finally have decent furniture in the house!!
The bed I bought is finished in a cherry color, and while these are a tad darker, they match quite well. The styles are similar and they make a great "suite". Since they're on the smaller side, they fit into my small apartment very well, and while the drawers are a bit narrower and not as deep as I would like, they get the job done. I moved my clothes into them today, and I still have room to spare.
I'm so pleased with this purchase -- I feel like an adult again!!”

I am buying these Alisdair pieces as they go on sale, one-by-one. I have had the sleigh bed for a long time which is really high quality. I love the wood shine and color. The only downside is the drawers themselves are light/thin-ish and not on a metal frame so they do not glide nicely. Had the drawers been on a metal frame this would have been a better product. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.”

I wanted to use this to replace a double dresser which didn't hold much. I now have a nice looking dresser with the same problem. I am leaving off a star for the narrow drawer but other than that, it is sturdy, pretty, the price was good and hopefully it lasts a few years.”

“The chest was delivered a week late, but I was notified AFTER I waited the scheduled 3 hour window for delivery. I was told it was out of stock. Do you think they could have told me that when was delivery was scheduled instead of me reschudling a Dr appt for 9 weeks later? Then the delivery macho man hauled the chest on his back & proceeded to chip my stairway cieling. He got . NO tip. So much for paying extra for concierge service. It will be very hard to buy from Ashley again even tho we had a relationship with Irl Bernstein, past president of Ashley!”

The delivery men arrived at my house at 9:16pm, which is unacceptable. I wake up at 5am and go to sleep at 9pm. It is disrespectful to arrive to someone’s house after 9pm for a delivery. The next delivery attempt will be 3/11/2025, if it isn’t delivered in the morning as I requested, I will return the item.”
