“I have purchased many furniture items from Ashley. The products are great most of the time, but this order, I experienced the worst customer service ever. Ordered this bed in Sep 1st, received email saying delivery in Sep 17. When the date comes close, received an email saying Sep 26 delivery instead. Then on Sep 25, received email saying Oct 2 instead. Calling customer service inquiring about why it keeps being pushed back and I was told "I don't know, it is scheduled for Oct 2".
The bed came finally, then I found out there is no slat for it. I didn't see boxspring in the picture so I thought it doesn't need one. I then checked description and sure enough it says box spring is required, so it was my fault for not checking description. I contacted Ashley customer service to return, they asked a bunch of questions and said they couldn't help and transferred me to a different team. Again a bunch of questions, but sorry that team couldn't help either. I was then provided a phone number for Ashcom something who is responsible for online order. Called them and they said I can only return if there is defect on item within 3 days of receiving. So basically no return option at all after an hour calling multiple teams. Maybe this is the last time I order from Ashley.”

“The top on the board has very sharp corners, the tow kick at the bottom need enlarged so when you stand close your feet have room and don't hot the footboard. Overall, not a good design, thumbs down.”

“It seems to be sturdy, and it is very nice in person. I had it delivered but not assembled at the time because I was in the middle of a renovation, so I had to assemble itself myself later on. There were 2 unexpected things about this item 1: Each of two vertical pieces that attach to the headboard were installed backwards, so the side rails did not line up with the holes in the headboard and so they could not be attached... I had to unbolt the two vertical pieces from the headboard and flip them over and reattach them to the headboard to be able to attach the rails. 2: the footboard is not very tall, so once the box spring and mattress are laid inside the bed frame, the top of the footboard looks too short. the good parts: the color is a very nice white/grey whitewash and it fit our queen sized mattress and frame perfectly, the price is very good, and the delivery was easy to arrange. the company did a great job at communicating during the entire delivery process.”
