“I initially left comments saying it is bulky but after 7 months of using it I think I should give an updated view. It is still bulky but I appreciate its functionality. It is a beautiful enough piece to put in the hall way, as I did. I put linen items in it. It is easier to open close the sliding door and see everything (every shelve all at once) vs open individual drawers one at a time. I do not experience the sliding door issue as some people suggested. It took me a long time to find a beautiful and big enough cabinet for my linens that still fits my space. I still wish it could be smaller, like 15-17 in depth instead of 19in, and keep the shelve depth at 13in.”

“I really want to love the Paxberry dressing chest. I bought one for me & one for my daughter and while beautiful, they are incredibly cheaply made. The chests come almost completely built--you just need to put on the knobs and feet. To me, the wooden block feet aren't keeping with the delicate beauty of the chest, so I may remove them. But more than that, the center foot (for bracing) had the hole drilled in the wrong place & the screw would not fit. This happened on both dressers, although one was slightly better than the other. It required me drilling my own holes. Plus, no matter how careful you are the screws' metal is so soft it gets stripped almost immediately & the feet are loose. The drawers are flimsy & the front panel doesn't slide easily. Again--very beautiful but I would have happily paid more for higher quality. Bought the beds (King & Queen) & they're similar in construction, unfortunately.”

“Ashley takes your money and runs! I paid for full service delivery. Once the dresser ended up in the bedroom, it was damaged in multiple places. Oh! and it arrived on the WRONG DAY! The delivery ppl took pictures and said they would submit them and a Technician would contact me regarding repairs or to have it replaced. Ashley did call that evening (I was out, if you remember, this was NOT the day I scheduled for delivery). I called the next day, as instructed, and Ashley acted as if I was the one that was at fault. I asked if they had the pictures from the delivery ppl. Needless to say, the ppl on the phone were as much help as the damaged wood of the dresser. 2 days and I had to call back for a status update. No Technician scheduled. They scheduled one, 10 DAYS after the delivery date. I guess Ashley damages A LOT of furniture.
I recommend going to Living Spaces in Roseville, CA. Wonderful customer service and excellent white glove delivery.”

“Looks exactly like it does online, which is good. The drawers are deeper than expected which is also good. However I gave only 3 stars because there is NO handle to move the sliding part of the door and worse... it doesn't slide smoothly. It catches repeatedly over and over and you need 2 hands to try and maneuver it open. I was told it'd get better over time but I don't know how long I'm going to have to wait. Overall, it's really, really pretty. Height is good. Just really disappointed in all the finger wounds I have now from trying to open it.”
